This is a management role within CG's Sales function focused on leading the team that manages our largest and most strategic national accounts. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) lead the organization responsible for providing cross-functional strategic leadership on performance of CG's largest national accounts. (ii) lead organization in discovering and addressing customer needs; generating and developing new business opportunities across national accounts, and (iii) ensure CG’s relationship with National Accounts is aligned at proper levels from Executive leadership through execution teams with a defined cadence of interaction across all levels. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years in large account sales management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the organization responsible for providing cross-functional strategic leadership on performance of CG's largest national accounts.

  • Lead organization in discovering and addressing customer needs; generating and developing new business opportunities across national accounts.

  • Ensure CG’s relationship with National Accounts is aligned at proper levels from Executive leadership through execution teams with a defined cadence of interaction across all levels.

  • Lead the identification, prioritization, and selection of the partners that make up the National Accounts portfolio

  • Document clear account level strategies and plans and subsequently drive Chamberlain Group's sales strategy and execution in partnership with Regional Sales leadership and teams.

  • Responsible for overall National Accounts organization achievement of sales standards and gross profit targets by guiding long-term strategic plans and roadmaps based upon account performance, team performance and sales analytics

  • Lead and coach organization to optimize performance against key revenue and OKR targets for each National Account resulting in full National Account organization meeting or exceeding targets

  • Lead and coach organization to deliver continuous improvement of the sales process

  • Lead and coach organization to manage and develop strategic relationships with key internal and external decision makers

  • Lead and coach organization to synthesize competitive landscape and drive strategy to maintain competitive edge based on competitive research performed by the team

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.

  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

  • Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members

  • Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies

  • Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications

  • Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the Chamberlain Group mission, vision and values.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 10+ years in large account sales management

  • Proven track record leading a sales organization focused on named accounts that overdelivers on established quotas and targets

  • Ability to lead both GTM strategy and execution with positive results/outcomes

  • Able to travel up to 40% - domestically and internationally; valid driver's license

  • Preferred: Master's of Business Administration preferred

The pay range of pay for this position is $$159,500.00 - $$257,000.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.  In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).  This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
