We are further strengthen our Product Portfolio organization and search a Director (m/f/d) Software Portfolio Management.
This role has the ability to be a Change Manger (m/f/d) to a more sales driven approach. You can perform the role 60:40 remotely while being close to our site in Bellheim, when needed.
Your tasks
- Renews, expands and changes the software and connectivity portfolio in accordance with the strategic directions of Remstar and the Kardex Group.
- Oversees multiple product management processes, establishes priorities, and coordinates with teams to create schedules and road maps throughout the software product life cycle. Maintains an entrepreneurial perspective in all processes and develops budgets based on forecasts
- Guides and collaborates with teams through changes and iterations to be made to already distributed products
- Identifies, manages, and mitigates risks in respect to software and connectivity portfolio and its business goals
- Constantly coordinates with business stakeholders to drive growth in the product’s market share
- Creates and develops products that not only address unmet customer needs and incorporate market trends, but products users will also love
- Inspiring leadership and further development for 4 direct reports
Your profile
- A Masters's degree in software development, software engineering or computer science, engineering management or similar education background
- Demonstrated experience in leading technology driven departments for client-server-based and cloud-based software applications in the B2B international environment
- A proven track record in software product planning, defining, and launching, unifying product portfolios, and designing standardized and customized software products.
- Experience in driving and leading the creative process that helps generate, develop, and curate new software product ideas.
- Project management certification in agile methodologies, such as Scrum Master, Agile Coach or similar
- Excellent communication skills on all hierarchy levels and stakeholder expectation management, while being fluent in English and having very good comand of German
