About Advantage HQ

Advantage HQ is building the next generation of creator-led growth infrastructure for consumer brands.

We combine creative strategy, creator partnerships, performance content, whitelisting, affiliate distribution, paid media, and proprietary technology into one integrated growth system.

Our team manages more than $850 million in annual media spend and works with a network of more than 400,000 creators across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. Through Meteoric AI, our proprietary intelligence platform, we use data and AI to improve decision-making across creative production, creator selection, customer acquisition, campaign performance, and brand growth.

We work with ambitious consumer brands across health, wellness, beauty, nutrition, personal care, and lifestyle.

The Opportunity

Advantage HQ is building a media organization capable of operating at significant scale.

The Director of Media Operations will own the operating performance of that organization.

You will lead senior media leaders, establish the systems and standards that govern media delivery, and build the organizational structure required to support continued growth.

This is not an account management role. Your primary responsibility is to make the entire Media Buying organization better.

Build the Media Operations function

You will define how Media Operations should work across teams, clients, and levels of leadership.

You will establish the operating model, responsibilities, standards, KPIs, and management rhythms required for consistent execution.

Build and lead the management organization

You will lead Media Operations Managers, Senior Managers, and other senior leaders.

You will set expectations for leadership performance and build a strong management layer capable of operating independently.

Create scalable systems

You will build and continuously improve the systems used for media execution, quality assurance, performance management, reporting, training, escalation, and resource planning.

You will determine where standardization creates leverage and where teams need flexibility.

Own organizational capacity

You will work with executive leadership on hiring plans, organizational structure, resource allocation, and capacity forecasting.

You will ensure the organization can support growth without creating unnecessary cost or operational complexity.

Improve business performance

You will connect operational decisions to client outcomes and company economics.

You will identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, retention, margins, and team performance.

Partner with executive leadership

You will work closely with the executive team and other functional leaders to ensure Media Operations supports the broader direction of the business.

You will bring clear recommendations rather than simply reporting problems.

Who You Are

You are an experienced media executive who knows how to build organizations.

You have deep knowledge of paid media and e-commerce, but your primary strength is creating systems and developing leaders that allow those capabilities to operate at scale.

You are commercially minded and understand that operational decisions affect client results, team productivity, margins, and growth.

You are comfortable making difficult decisions, challenging existing processes, and building structure in an environment that is still evolving.

Most importantly, you take ownership of outcomes. You do not wait for perfect information or detailed instructions before acting.

Experience We Value
  • 9+ years of experience in paid media, performance marketing, growth, or a related field
  • 4+ years leading multiple media teams or managers
  • Extensive e-commerce and performance marketing experience
  • Experience managing significant media portfolios
  • Demonstrated experience building operating systems and organizational processes
  • Experience with workforce planning, hiring, performance management, and leadership development
  • Strong commercial and analytical judgment
  • Experience working directly with executive leadership
  • Experience in an agency, growth, performance marketing, or high-volume client environment
Why Join Advantage HQ

This is an opportunity to shape the operating model of a major media organization.

You will have the authority to redesign processes, build leadership structures, introduce technology and AI, and create the systems required to support continued growth.

Your impact will extend across every media team and client portfolio at Advantage HQ.

Compensation & Location
  • $60,000 - $140,000 USD total annual compensation, including base salary, performance bonus, and equity.
  • Fully remote. We have built the infrastructure for high-performance distributed teams and trust our people to do their best work from wherever they work best.
  • We are open to candidates globally.
