Our mission in Mexico Marketplace Supply Chain is to connect consumers with easy access to product when, where and how they shop today and into tomorrow. As our Marketplace Supply Chain (MSC) Director, you’ll lead Account and Channel Operations for Nike Mexico, as well as the MSC strategy for the Territory. You will ensure we execute our mission through a premium customer experience, while driving sustainable growth and profitability, and optimizing order book productivity.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
· Lead and coach a Marketplace Supply Chain/Operations team to ensure service excellence and end to end profitability. Drive high team engagement, provide opportunities for growth and visibility, and develop future facing customer centric mindsets
· Active member of the MX Supply Chain Leadership Team where together with your peers you’ll build the future of Supply Chain from strategic plans fostering cross-funstional work among other areas of SC.
· Lead building of joint operational & order management capabilities with key partners to drive mutual growth, profitability & productivity. Drive enhanced supply chain integration points with key partners
· Partner cross-functionally within Nike (with Global and Geo MSC, the Nike Marketplace Partners Team, Merchandising, Logistics, Tech, Demand Supply Management) to flawlessly execute launches, initiatives, key commercial styles, and key city framework
· Ensure the team executes against efficient order management processes to capture orders, deliver seasonal plans and meet financial objectives (including Efficiencies/Savings). Manage the order book to reflect account/channel shipment intent
· Influence the complete supply chain process from upstream planning/production, inbound delivery, distribution, transportation services, systems, sales floor replenishment to achieve product availability expectations
· Drive standard reporting and metric/KPIs for superior order book health and integrity
· Align on shipment plans for the account/channel - supporting outbound flow to be aligned and optimized in order to elevate services levels and the optimal cost.
· Lead and sponsor continuous improvement projetcs with our Partners to position Nike as the best option in Service.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will report into the Supply Chain Sr Director- LATAM, with a dotted line into the Sr Director MSC APLA and sit on both the Mexico SC Leadership team and the Asia Pacific Latin America MSC Leadership Team. You will work closely with the Logistics Director and Integrated Fulfillment Planning Sr Manager, as well as their teams. The role will have a high engagement with cross-functional partners at both a Territory and Geo level.
WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
· Educational requirements - Bachelors’ degree in Business/ Supply Chain/ Operations Management or similar required
· A passion for people, and a proven leader in talent development and coaching. Self-motivated with the ability to inspire and create a performance culture
· Ability to build strong and trusted partnerships, navigate competing stakeholders, functional agendas and multiple priorities.
· +10 years of experience in a highly cross-functional global business environment with the ability to effectively communicate and influence at various levels within a matrixed structure, including strong storytelling and negotiation skills
· Strategy development & planning experience w/ strong financial acumen
· Understanding of retail value chains, planning processes, strategic and key accounts, and supply chain operations
· Change agent/change management skill set
