Job Description

Create and manage the marketing calendar.

Translate strategic priorities for each month into the marketing campaigns. Create innovative, compelling and effective campaigns by understanding our needs, keeping up with the competitive landscape, and collaborating with our merchandising, buying, and social media teams.

Collaborate closely with our social media team to understand and prioritize brand marketing needs.

Oversee strategy and execution of email marketing and social media campaign assets, working with our email deployment team to execute.

Ensure alignment of brand image across all channels: social media, e-commerce, brand, PR and merchandising. Collaborate with Social Media and PR teams to ensure consistent messaging.

Team Management and Development: Effectively build the team by recruiting and retaining top talent.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years work experience in marketing, particularly online direct marketing

Proven ability to develop strategies and scale execution for impact, measuring and iterating

Must have experience with an understanding of consumer internet or other online products

Strong results and work ethic - a proven star performer over the course of your career

Hands-on: must be willing to be an individual contributor first and a manager second

BA and/or MBA from a top school strongly desired

Excellent leadership, management, interpersonal and communication skills

Strong interest and passion for home improvement and design a plus
