Position Title: Director of Marketing & Sales
Salary Range: $98,000 - $117,600, depending on experience, with additional incentive commission and performance-based bonus potential.

Blakehurst is seeking a Director of Marketing and Sales to join our team! This leader is primarily responsible for leading the sales and marketing strategy to ensure the successful sales of units and maintaining optimal occupancy levels in the community. This position combines strategic planning with day-to-day hands-on sales activities to meet and exceed established performance goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

Drive Sales Performance

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and maintain occupancy targets.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective residents, their families, and referral partners.
  • Conduct personalized tours and consultations that demonstrate the value of the Blakehurst lifestyle.
  • Guide prospects through the sales journey from inquiry through move-in.
  • Manage sales pipelines, conversion efforts, and lead follow-up activities using Salesforce CRM.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators, including occupancy, lead generation, and conversion metrics.

 

Lead Marketing Initiatives

  • Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with community goals and local market opportunities.
  • Partner with LCS marketing teams and agency partners on advertising, branding, and promotional efforts.
  • Manage digital and print marketing campaigns to enhance community visibility and engagement.
  • Oversee website content and online presence.
  • Plan and host events, seminars, open houses, and outreach activities that generate qualified leads.

 

Build Strategic Community Partnerships

  • Cultivate relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, local businesses, referral agencies, and community organizations.
  • Expand referral networks and identify opportunities to increase awareness of Blakehurst within the greater Baltimore market.

 

Collaborate & Lead

  • Work closely with the Executive Director and community leadership team to align occupancy and operational goals.
  • Partner with regional sales and marketing leaders to ensure best practices and consistency with LCS SalesFIRST standards.
  • Mentor and support sales team members, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and hospitality.
  • Provide market insight on pricing strategies, promotions, and competitive positioning.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales and marketing leadership experience.
  • Senior living, healthcare, hospitality, real estate, or related industry experience.
  • Proven success meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience managing CRM systems, such as Salesforce and sales pipelines.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
