The Opportunity:
The Director, Marketing - Pancreatic Cancer leads the strategy, execution, and performance of the Pancreatic Cancer franchise within Revolution Medicines’ RAS(ON) program. This role is accountable for defining brand strategy, leading cross-functional launch readiness, and driving commercial excellence across internal and external stakeholders. The Director will mentor marketing team members, align global and regional marketing initiatives, and represent the organization externally as a trusted industry voice.
Operate as ambassador of the company, establishing the organization as trusted member of the healthcare community to all relevant stakeholders (Patients, HCPs, Payers, Policy makers, Industry peers).
Lead the development of effective strategic and promotional plans, shape strategy to align with overall launch and brand and portfolio strategy.
Leverage deep understanding of oncology healthcare customers, including providers, key opinion leaders, patients, and market access stakeholders, to inform the brand strategic approach that drives customer behavior change and market performance.
Lead brand strategic and tactical planning, financial planning and congress strategy and execution.
Develop KPIs and continually assess performance and analyze market, customer, and competitor trends, incorporating insights into marketing plans.
Partner closely and provide strategic direction to cross-functional groups (e.g. Insights & Analytics, Medical Affairs) for the development and implementation of strategic and executional plans.
Independently and credibly represent the Commercial Development and Marketing organizations on cross-functional workstreams and initiatives, ensuring appropriate alignment with launch and marketing strategies.
Lead prioritized execution plans across key marketplace stakeholders e.g., HCPs, Patients, Advocacy, Health System or other Business Partners as needed.
Contribute to vision for lifecycle of the brand with portfolio considerations.
Operate as a leader to facilitate cohesive marketing team collaboration.
Lead critical cross functional workstreams to ensure launch success.
Ensure management of partner agency of record relationships, workflow, and budgets.
Ensure strategic and tactical plans meet compliance and regulatory guidelines and company policies.
Deliver marketing operating expenses within budget.
Travel as needed to home office as applicable and external meetings and conferences
Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
11+ years of progressive experience in biotech or pharma marketing, including 4+ years in commercial leadership roles.
Proven success in leading teams, developing long-term marketing strategies, and driving commercial transformation through cross-functional influence and innovation.
Preferred Skills:
MBA.
Launch and customer-facing experience.
People management experience.
Insights and Analytics experience.
Experience with targeted oncology product experience strongly preferred.
