The Role

Employment Status: Full-Time, Benefits Eligible

Location: On-Site at NEW Gymreapers’ HQ in Nampa, ID (20 mins outside of Boise, ID)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM (flex according to business needs)

Reports To:  CEO

 

Position Overview:

Gymreapers is building a world-class marketing engine to scale from the brand across DTC, Amazon, Retail, Athletes, and Events. We are seeking a Director of Marketing Operations to serve as the execution backbone of our marketing organization.

This role owns campaign delivery, launch cadence, cross-functional coordination, and marketing execution systems. You will ensure every product launch, athlete activation, and seasonal campaign ships on time, on brand, and with clarity.

This is a senior operational leadership position responsible for turning strategy into execution at speed.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign & Launch Execution
  • Own end-to-end execution for:
    • Product launches and drops
    • Athlete campaigns and collaborations
    • Events and activations
    • Seasonal and promotional campaigns
  • Build and maintain a master GTM calendar across:
    • Amazon
    • DTC (Shopify)
    • Retail / Wholesale
    • Social, Email, and Athlete channels
  • Ensure launches ship on time with complete assets, messaging, and channel alignment
Cross-Functional Project Management
  • Serve as the central point of coordination across:
    • Creative
    • Ecommerce
    • Email / Lifecycle
    • Paid Media
    • Athletes
    • Events
    • Operations & Inventory
  • Run:
    • Campaign kickoffs
    • Weekly marketing execution standups
    • Launch readiness reviews
    • Post-campaign retrospectives
  • Identify risks early and resolve blockers before they impact timelines
Marketing Process & Systems Ownership
  • Design, document, and enforce SOPs for:
    • Campaign requests
    • Creative briefs
    • Asset development and approvals
    • Launch readiness checklists
  • Own and optimize marketing tools:
    • JIRA
    • GTM Calendar
    • Slack workflows
  • Create operational clarity and eliminate last-minute fire drills
Capacity Planning & Prioritization
  • Forecast team capacity and manage competing priorities
  • Protect Creative and Growth teams from overload
  • Drive ruthless prioritization aligned to revenue impact
  • Provide leadership visibility into:
    • What’s shipping
    • What’s at risk
    • What’s being deprioritized
Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement
  • Track execution KPIs including:
    • On-time launch rate
    • Campaign throughput
    • Missed deadlines and root causes
  • Partner with Ecommerce and Analytics teams to:
    • Review campaign performance post-launch
    • Feed learnings back into GTM and planning cycles
  • Continuously refine workflows to increase speed and quality
Success Metrics (KPIs)
  • Creative delivery on-time rate (≥95%)
  • Campaign and product launch readiness
  • Creative cost efficiency (cost per asset, per shoot)
  • Stakeholder satisfaction (Marketing, Ecommerce, Amazon)
  • Reduction in rework and revision cycles
  • Studio throughput and asset velocity
  • Ability to support simultaneous multi-channel launches
Qualifications
  • 6–10+ years experience in Marketing Operations, Program Management, or Campaign Management
  • Experience supporting DTC or ecommerce brands ($20M–$150M+)
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-channel launches
  • Deep experience with project management tools and workflow systems
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce marketing channels

Preferred:

  • Amazon + DTC experience
  • Athlete, influencer, or event marketing exposure
  • Experience scaling a marketing organization through high-growth phases
