Job SummaryChurch & Dwight is seeking a Director Innovation & Development – Touchland to join our team. We are looking for a high energy, high impact leader to drive innovative transformation and acceleration across the Touchland portfolio both domestically and internationally.
About the Role
This leader is a core member of the Touchland Commercial Team, reporting to the AVP Marketing and working closely with brand leaders, R&D, sales strategy and supply organization to drive impactful innovations across a complex, fast-moving brand portfolio.
Work Environment
Hybrid: This is a hybrid role based in Ewing, NJ or New York City.
- Ewing, NJ requires in-person attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work options on Mondays and Fridays.
- New York City requires in-person attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, with remote work options on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new product strategies to drive U.S. and international growth. This will include Fragrance extensions, Collaborations, new segment entries, and customer specific innovations.
- Challenging the status quo and accelerating innovation with meaningful trend forward and strategic platforms, working cross-functionally to make them happen.
- Ideation acceleration across the portfolio, determining where to play, right to win, and how to play.
- Adoption of test and learn methodologies including AI technologies with consumer validation testing as well as capital GTM launches.
- Create 3-5 year new product pipelines, working closely with R&D, Touchland brand team and sales strategy.
- Validation of size opportunity and direct influence with five-year strategic plan.
- New product development, working with cross functional teams.
- Anticipate market conditions, track consumption data and monitor trends through social listening while adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Inspire teams to deliver initiatives in support of brand strategy.
- Gain organizational support and senior level buy in for new product initiatives.
- Creatively interpret data and markets to identify new opportunities and solutions that have significant impact on the business.
- Collaborate with R&D, Brand and co-mans to generate and accept concept to market ideation.

- Change agent to drive high-pace innovation to meet the needs of a dynamic beauty category.
- Direct experience driving innovation within fast-paced beauty categories and brands. Has deep industry knowledge and passion and is on the pulse of consumer and client trends shaping the future.
- Defining strategies and agile processes through complex matrixed organizations, influencing and structuring to drive results with speed
- Comfortable and effective working with high-level peer set (VPs and Directors), strong strategic skills, PLUS ability to lead cross functional teams in project execution
- Strong marketing, financial, and general management skills
- Contextual communicator who collaboratively identify opportunity areas and problems worth solving
- Strong business acumen with the capability of defining a strategy aligning with business value
- Agile thinker expertly interfacing between the business and new markets
- Presenting externally, especially to retailers
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of marketing experience (CPG, OTC)
- Expertise across all areas of marketing
- Leading and developing talent
- Global experience is preferred
Compensation and Benefits
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$255,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus.
As a Church & Dwight US employee, you (and eligible dependents, as applicable) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid vacation and sick time, and Paid Parental Leave. U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and vacation days starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date. You are also able to participate in our 401k retirement plan (with company match and profit-sharing) and Discounted Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
