Position Purpose: Responsible for the creation, delivery, management, and continuous improvement of Centene's Leadership Development solutions. Gathers data insights from across the organization to design programs that support people leaders at all levels in building critical skillsets to succeed in their current roles and to grow into future roles. Leading a team of Leadership Development subject matter experts, this role focuses on ensuring that leadership programs align with Centene's business strategy and industry leading practice, foster a culture of innovation, and support leader engagement and organizational success.
- Design, implement, and manage leadership development strategies aligned with the Centene’s goals, culture and skill needs.
- Collaborate across the business and within the People Team to identify areas of opportunity and the right solutions to improve the capability and competency of our people leaders.
- Create thoughtful implementation and change management plans, effectively leveraging pilots and key partnerships, to ensure programs are ready for enterprise audiences.
- Leverage enterprise tools to enhance leadership development programs, creating connectivity within our suite of tools and resources.
- Act as a leadership consultant and subject matter expert, identifying and understanding key needs and translating into thoughtful recommendations and solutions.
- Regularly review and refine the impact of leadership development programs using key metrics and feedback mechanisms.
- Establish relationships across the organization to bring in diverse perspectives and ultimately drive the utilization and adoption of talent programs.
- Monitor and share leading practices to continually evolve the organization’s approach to leadership development.
- Lead vendor relationships from RFP through implementation and ongoing maintenance.
- Create and deliver polished presentations and materials for deployment across the organization, clearly articulating our leadership development journey and plans.
- Identify interdependencies across the business and integrate key stakeholders to support the utilization of enterprise programs and processes.
- Build an effective Leadership Development team, identifying the right talent to fill key needs, create an employee experience consistent with our culture, and act as a coach to support their development.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development/Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field required.: 7+ years of HR experience required, ideally with that time in the talent management, leadership development, learning, or organizational development space required.
Certification in leadership assessments or coaching preferred.
This position is 100% remote with 10% travel required.
