The Director of Knowledge Management will lead strategies for knowledge sharing through technology and processes. Responsibilities include managing content workflows, user engagement for continuous improvement, overseeing multiple projects, vendor relations, and driving AI initiatives. The role involves ensuring the quality and relevance of internal and external documentation while providing direct support for enterprise systems.

  • Knowledge Management - Enterprise Strategy

    • Create and manage the ongoing roadmap for enabling knowledge sharing, as delivered via process and technology

    • Lead cross-functional initiatives to deliver extraordinary user experience for IAS documentation, internal and external. Identify areas for automation and solve issues via creative solutions.

    • Drive user engagement for continuous improvement on KM processes and platforms. Lead steering committees, feedback models, and two-way communication channels.

    • Provide direct end user support and troubleshooting for enterprise systems. Ad hoc and formal training on content management systems leveraged to create business critical materials.

  • Project Management 

    • Manage multiple, concurrent projects from inception to delivery. Map initiatives to strategic roadmap for prioritization and IAS organizational goals.

    • Create and own BRDs/FRDs to translate business requirements into technical direction for contracted dev teams. Conduct feasibility studies and lead solutioning efforts to ensure demands are met.

    • Conduct UAT for platform releases and manage associated defects against project delivery goals. Communicate ongoing status updates to stakeholders for related strategic planning needs. 

  • Vendor Management

    • Manage vendor contracts and associated relationships across multiple enterprise systems. Includes, but not limited to content management systems, GenAI tools, translation services, and site development.  

    • Lead RFP/RFI process for evaluating new software applications. Negotiate terms of service for new contracts and renewals of existing agreements. 

    • Maintain budget spend against development hours allocated to build, maintain, and support key customer-facing sites. Adjust up/down in line with departmental forecasting models. 

  • Product Owner

    • Manage feature builds for product development on enterprise systems that affect KM efforts both directly and indirectly. 

    • Maintain the KMO backlog in concert with contracted developers against internal needs. Measure impact of enhancements to prioritize sprints and execute on initiatives that create meaningful change.

    • Collaborate with legal, security, and compliance to minimize business risk through a well-defined governance model. Implement controls required to keep integrity of user experience and protect IAS IP.

  • Enterprise AI Strategy

    • Drive AI initiatives across the organization to provide cutting edge technology and supporting tools to end users. Define strategy for onboarding, implementation, training, and support model. 

    • Engage with users to gather requirements for building custom workflows to solve individual and enterprise use cases. Identify opportunities that generate revenue for IAS through automation and content refinement. 

    • Own AnswerAI platform, the first GenAI tool at IAS to directly source content from internal databases. Build the vision for customer self-service, onboarding, and support with advanced workflows. 

    • Partner with CorpIT to conduct ongoing ROI analysis on AI products. Evaluate LLMs to find opportunities to improve function and cost savings.
