  • The role requires overseeing larger programs, managing multiple projects and work streams, and consolidating them into a comprehensive plan for reporting, monitoring, and communication
  • The IT PMO Director should possess a high level of technical expertise and the ability to quickly assimilate new information related to infrastructure, technical architecture, and application architecture
  • Understanding IT financials, budgeting for capital expenditures (CAPEX) and operational expenditures (OPEX) is crucial for effective resource allocation and financial planning within the IT department
  • The IT PMO Director must collaborate effectively with internal IT teams and business partners to ensure project cadence, execution, and alignment with business objectives
  • Identifying potential project challenges, assessing risks, and proposing remediation action plans are essential responsibilities to ensure successful project outcomes and delivery
  • Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership. The IT PMO Director must be able to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years within IT
  • 3+ years prior PMO experience
  • Extensive experience in IT project management, program management, and PMO leadership roles
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, technical architecture, and application architecture
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, resources, and timelines effectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus

Expected Base Pay Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, etc. Opportunities:

180-220k base salary + annual bonus target
