We are seeking a talented individual to join our Client Technology team, part of our Marsh Risk business at Marsh. This role will be based in Phoenix, Austin and New York. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
At Marsh we are dedicated to driving product success through innovation and collaboration. We are seeking a Senior Lead Technical Product Manager (TPM) to join our team, playing a critical role in enhancing product functionality and delivering to the portfolio commitments.
What can you expect?
As a Senior Technical Product Manager supporting Marsh’s Client Management Value Stream, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the technology capabilities that underpin the end-to-end client lifecycle — from onboarding and agreement management to anniversary reviews, client data updates, and operational efficiency.
You’ll work closely with business leaders, operations teams, engineers, and delivery partners to translate strategy into action, ensuring products and platforms are aligned to Marsh’s ambition to become the Risk Advisor of the Future. This is a highly collaborative role that requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to bring diverse stakeholders together around a shared vision.
You can expect to:
- Lead delivery of high-impact technology initiatives that improve client servicing, streamline workflows, and enable better data quality and automation
- Partner with the business to understand priorities, define outcomes, and turn needs into clear product direction and delivery plans
- Collaborate across multiple teams to deliver solutions that support global scale, operational consistency, and improved client experience
- Help drive modernization across core client management capabilities, including onboarding, agreements, client profiles, and servicing processes
- Work in a fast-paced environment with significant visibility, where your contribution directly supports commercial outcomes and business growth
- Influence how Marsh uses technology, data, and automation to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and create a more connected client experience
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys leading through influence, building trusted relationships, and making a tangible impact across a strategic business value stream.
We Will Count on You to:
- Partner with business leaders to create and executing a multi-year vision for their portfolio of applications. This vision includes a point-of-view on the future role of technology for that business or functional area (new technology requirements), application disposition, build versus buy, sequence in which new functionality will be developed (macro), modernization approach, application retirement, portfolio ROI planning etc.
- Clearly articulate product features with clarity and precision to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Lead product roadshows to showcase key functionalities and gather feedback, ensuring alignment across teams and customers. Create comprehensive documentation that clearly outlines product features and their value propositions, enabling effective communication and driving adoption.
- Manage portfolio budget and driving responsible development defined as on-time and on-budget development of new capabilities aligned to enterprise standards as well as appropriate ongoing management of those applications in partnership with MMC shared service leaders. Balancing CTB and RTB spend across the portfolio including planning around application lifecycle. e.g. when does an application move into ‘maintenance’.
- Proactively identify new technologies available in the marketplace to address specific business needs within their area of ownership so that technology can better serve as a strategic partner to the business. For instance, a TPM for placement at Marsh would be responsible for proactively identifying opportunities to add new features to existing solutions and bring those to the business.
- Create a single point of accountability for customizations or variations needed by geography, business line, or department with the goal of avoiding custom solutions that create excess complexity and increase MMC’s cost burden.
What You Need to Have:
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of product development and data strategy. Proven experience delivering technology initiatives successfully.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
What Makes You Stand Out:
- Experience in developing and executing multi-year technology visions and portfolio ROI planning.
- Background in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
Why join our team:
- We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.
- We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.
- Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being
