Your Role
As Director of Product – Portal & Experience, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of emnify’s Connectivity Management Portal (CMP) and API platform. This is a critical leadership role focused on elevating how our customers manage IoT connectivity at scale through intuitive UX, automation, and operational visibility.
You will report directly to the Chief Product Officer and lead a cross-functional team spanning Product Management, Product Design, and Product Documentation. You’ll shape product vision, define team structure, and ensure tight execution in a fast-moving environment.
⚠️ Please note: This role requires direct experience with IoT connectivity or Connectivity Management Platforms (CMPs). Familiarity with general SaaS, B2B platforms, or IoT-adjacent products (e.g. smart building interfaces, industrial dashboards) is not sufficient for this role.
Location: Berlin preferred (remote within Germany possible)
Your Impact
- Define and evolve the product vision for emnify’s CMP and API, ensuring alignment with customer needs and commercial strategy.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, including PMs, Designers, and Documentation Specialists, fostering a culture of ownership and growth.
- Elevate the UX of the CMP and API platform, making it a strategic differentiator through discovery-led design and AI-enhanced insights.
- Drive execution excellence, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable outcomes in adoption, usability, and satisfaction.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to scale the CMP for high-performance use cases.
Your Skills
- IoT connectivity or CMP experience: You’ve worked on platforms that involve device connectivity, SIM lifecycle management, provisioning, diagnostics, or similar network infrastructure for connected devices.
- Proven people leadership: You’ve built and led product teams, directly managing PMs and Designers through hiring, coaching, and accountability.
- Strong product ownership: You’ve driven complex products end-to-end, making data-informed decisions and balancing user, tech, and business priorities.
- UX/UI fluency: While not a designer, you’ve led or partnered with design teams to improve platform usability and customer workflows.
- Scale-up mindset: You thrive in evolving environments, bring structure to ambiguity, and leverage data and feedback to drive iteration.
