Position Summary
The Director of Investment Platforms is responsible for the architecture, governance, modernization, and ongoing effectiveness of Integrity Wealth’s investment platform infrastructure. The role leads platform strategy, strategic vendor relationships, product due diligence governance, and cross-functional initiatives designed to improve advisor experience, strengthen controls, and support scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the roadmap for custodial and clearing platforms, including capabilities, pricing, integrations, and scalability.
- Oversee relationships with custodians, TAMPs, and value-add vendors, including risk, reporting, analytics, and other advisor-facing solutions.
- Evaluate and onboard new platform capabilities that improve advisor experience, client outcomes, operational efficiency, or firm competitiveness.
- Govern third-party investment platforms and product availability, including ongoing assessment of capabilities and enhancements.
- Lead the firmwide product due diligence framework, including documented approval and decline processes and ongoing monitoring.
- Partner with Operations and Compliance to strengthen platform controls, execution, documentation, and risk oversight.
- Develop scalable infrastructure and processes capable of supporting advisor and AUM growth without proportionate increases in complexity.
- Lead cross-functional platform initiatives and communicate priorities, recommendations, risks, and progress to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, investment management, or a related field required; advanced degree or relevant professional designation preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in wealth management, asset management, financial services, or a related industry, with meaningful experience involving investment platforms, custodians, TAMPs, product due diligence, or advisor technology.
- Demonstrated experience evaluating, implementing, or managing custodial, investment, and third-party platform solutions.
- Experience leading strategic vendor relationships, including contract evaluation, pricing discussions, service level management, and platform enhancements.
- Experience developing or administering product and investment due diligence frameworks within a regulated financial-services environment.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving investments, operations, compliance, technology, and advisor-facing teams.
- Strong analytical, financial, negotiation, vendor-management, executive communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to translate advisor and business needs into practical, scalable platform solutions.
- FINRA licenses Series 7, Series 24, and Series 66 (or 63 and 65)
Success Metrics
- Establish and maintain a documented multi-year platform roadmap aligned with Integrity Wealth’s strategic growth priorities.
- Deliver agreed-upon platform enhancements and strategic initiatives on time and within established budgets.
- Demonstrate measurable improvement in platform capabilities, integration, efficiency, scalability, and advisor experience.
- Establish scorecards and governance processes for key custodians, TAMPs, and strategic vendors, with measurable improvement in service, economics, capabilities, or contractual terms.
- Maintain a consistent, documented product approval and monitoring framework and complete required reviews within established timelines.
- Reduce recurring platform-related friction points, operational issues, and material governance exceptions.
- Increase adoption and effective utilization of strategic platform capabilities.
- Identify and execute opportunities to consolidate, automate, or simplify platform processes while supportingadvisor and AUM growth.
