Join RH Aero Systems in a high-impact international sales role where you will help grow our licensed OEM product portfolio across global defense and military markets. As Director, International Military Sales, you will play a key role in expanding international military sales, export opportunities, and Direct Commercial Sales contracts through direct customer engagement and coordinated selling across multiple funding channels.
This is an opportunity to lead strategic pursuits in complex, long-cycle international markets while building trusted relationships with military customers, OEM partners, and internal teams. ⚙️ What You Will Do?
Business Development & Sales Execution
- Identify, develop, and close international military sales opportunities across assigned regions.
- Build and manage a strong opportunity pipeline aligned with Order Intake targets.
- Lead pursuit strategies for large, complex defense programs, including Direct Commercial Sales contracts and export opportunities.
- Develop channel-specific solutions across OEM direct, OEM with U.S. Government funding, and direct DCS routes to improve win probability.
- Coordinate proposals, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations from pursuit through award.
- Develop new strategic relationships with additional OEMs by engaging senior-level stakeholders and decision makers.
Customer & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government and military stakeholders, international defense customers, and OEM partners.
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned international military accounts.
- Partner with the OEM Key Account Manager and U.S. Government Sales team to align strategies and support seamless execution across channels.
- Contribute market insight to global sales strategy, product positioning, and opportunity planning.
- Lead contract negotiations with international customers to support commercially sound outcomes.
- Travel internationally across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and India to strengthen customer relationships and advance opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with regional leaders, functional teams, Legal, and Compliance to execute opportunities and manage risk.
- Ensure full adherence to ITAR, export controls, and applicable government regulations throughout the sales process.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and clear pipeline visibility to support business planning and decision-making.
🎯 What You Will Bring?
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 12–15+ years of strategic sales or key account management experience within aerospace, defense, or military programs.
- A proven ability to independently close complex international defense contracts and drive opportunities through long sales cycles.
- Strong knowledge of defense procurement, government contracting, export processes, and compliance-driven sales environments.
- The ability to grow existing accounts and develop new customers from initial engagement through trusted, strategic relationships.
- Experience working across multiple international regions, including the Americas, EMEIA, and Asia.
Preferred :
- Experience supporting engine programs, MRO services, or aerospace tooling environments.
- Established relationships with international defense contractors, OEMs, or armed services.
- Familiarity with offset agreements and foreign military sales (FMS).

- Willingness to travel internationally up to 10–12 times per year, including occasional trips lasting up to two weeks.
