An Insider's view of Thrive Market

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

Thrive Market is a company that values family first. Leadership has supported me as I navigated the challenges of being a first time mom (during a pandemic!) with kindness and empathy, while offering me a flexible schedule and while still giving me opportunities for growth.

Erin

Senior Director of Growth Marketing

What's the biggest problem your team is solving?

The biggest problem our team is trying to solve is how to become the number one brand users turn to for easy and affordable online groceries. Our team puts user experience at the forefront to ensure that the user has an enjoyable and cohesive experience across the board, from their browser all the way to their mobile app.

Krisha

Lead Software Engineer

How does the company support your career growth?

I first started in Member Services. Now, I am responsible for providing a testing infrastructure that provides our users the highest quality of shopping experience. I take what I learned from my direct interaction with members, and now have the ability to add that to code that reflects that interaction. 6 years later, I'm still Thriving!

Marcus

QA Engineer

How do your team's ideas influence the company's direction?

The Merchandising team is always looking for better ways to serve our members. We build out category strategies that include sourcing new products to meet member's diet & lifestyle needs, looking for more sustainable packaging formats or creating innovative Thrive Market Brand items.

Christine

Senior Director of Merchandising

How do you collaborate with other teams in the company?

We really make an effort to foster cohesion between team members and make the effort to understand the long-term goals and strategies with our partnered departments. We achieve this by emphasizing trust, respect, honesty and open-mindedness in our day-to-day communications and interactions. It helps that we're all driven by our mission!
