Director of Innovation & Process Improvement

YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Innovation & Process Improvement to lead strategic initiatives that foster innovation, accelerate business transformation and enhance operational efficiency across US Life Insurance business. This role will be a part of the USLI Finance organization and will report directly to the Head of Innovation.
 

What you will be doing

  • Leadership: Lead cross-functional and matrixed teams through influence, fostering alignment and driving results without direct reporting lines
  • Innovation Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a portfolio of innovation initiatives from ideation through execution and scaling
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to uncover opportunities for innovation and improvement, bringing high value growth to the organization
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies across business units and implement process optimization strategies using improvement frameworks
  • Metrics & Reporting: Establish KPIs to measure the impact of innovation and process improvement efforts; report progress to senior leadership
  • Technology Enablement: Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies that support innovation and operational excellence

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Innovation, or related field; Master’s preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in innovation, strategy or process improvement roles
  • Proven track record of leading innovation sprints and delivering measurable improvements
  • Strong knowledge of design thinking methodologies
  • Excellent facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment
