What does a successful Regional Issuing Technology Digital Platforms Director do at Fiserv?

Leads regional strategy and delivery for mission‑critical issuing platforms (Base24, Falcon, API/ITSP, Vision Plus), ensuring robust architecture, 24x7 operational excellence, and strong client alignment across Latin America.

What you will do:

• Own and prioritize the regional technology roadmap and delivery for issuing satellite products across LATAM.
• Align technology solutions with clients and product owners to meet business requirements and SLAs.
• Define and drive hybrid architecture and operational standards to ensure service continuity.
• Manage, mentor, and coordinate cross‑functional teams while enforcing governance and compliance.
• Deliver regional projects from planning through execution, meeting uptime, performance, and compliance targets.

What you will need to have:

• 20+ years total IT/payments experience, including minimum 10+ years directly managing mission‑critical issuing platform operations.
• At least 5+ years hands‑on experience across the 4 core issuing platforms: Base24, Falcon, API/ITSP and Vision Plus.
• Proven delivery record: maintained 99.9%+ availability for 24x7 services and led 8+ major platform projects or migrations to production.
• Bachelor’s degree (4‑year) required; Master’s degree (2‑year program) preferred.
   

What would be nice to have:

• Fluency in two languages (English and Spanish); Portuguese proficiency as a third language desirable.
• 5+ years leading regional delivery across LATAM, supporting 5+ countries.
• 3+ years leading cloud migration or hybrid architecture initiatives for 24x7 services.
• 10+ executive‑level presentations/negotiations demonstrating stakeholder and vendor management.
