Summary of the Job:
About This Role:
Strategic Planning & Execution
• Lead the development and execution of the Individual Segment's strategies and multi-year strategic plan in alignment with the Banking Division's overall strategy and organizational priorities.
• Collaborate with segment leadership to identify growth opportunities, including market expansion, product innovation, digital initiatives, and customer acquisition strategies. •
Translate broad strategic objectives into actionable implementation plans with clear metrics, timelines, and accountability measures. • Support strategic planning reviews and provide ongoing strategic guidance to segment leadership.
• Monitor progress against strategic initiatives and recommend course corrections as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Alignment
• Partner with functional areas including Marketing, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Finance to ensure strategic alignment and integrated execution.
• Serve as a liaison between the Individual Segment and the Banking Division's Strategic Planning team, ensuring consistency in planning approaches and communication.
• Facilitate collaboration across product lines within the Individual Segment (retail banking, consumer lending, small business, etc.) to identify synergies and optimize resource allocation.
• Build strong working relationships with strategic planning counterparts in other segments and divisions.
Strategic Analysis & Insights
• Market & Competitive Intelligence: Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for competitive advantage.
• Identify critical performance gaps and partner with leaders to prioritize improvements
• Innovation & Emerging Trends: Monitor industry innovations, emerging technologies, and changing customer behaviors to ensure the segment remains forward-thinking and customer centric.
Strategic Communication
• Develop clear and compelling communications that articulate the Individual Segment's strategic direction to internal stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Create presentations, business cases, and strategic briefings for leadership reviews and decision-making forums.
• Ensure segment teams understand how their work connects to broader strategic objectives.
The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
Experience & Education
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in financial services, with at least 5 years in strategy or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree required, MBA or advanced degree in Finance , Economics, Business, or related field preferred.
• Proven success in developing and executing multi-year strategic plans within retail banking or consumer financial services.
• Experience working in cross-functional environments and managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
Knowledge & Skills
• Deep understanding of banking, banking products, and the competitive landscape, and financial markets with strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Exceptional project management abilities with sill in managing multiple priorities and attention to detail
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and business intelligence platforms to drive insights
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations

• Strategic mindset balanced with practical execution focus and strong business judgment from a customer centric perspective
• Collaborative leadership style that influences without authority, fosters innovation, and builds credibility across diverse stakeholder groups

This position will be based in Omaha, Nebraska
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.Compensation:
Compensation range (base pay): $97,774.00-$166,216.00
This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.
Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
Work Environment:
It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are.
