Director Inclusion & Diversity

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, and forward-thinking Director, Global Inclusion & Diversity to join our amazing culture. This leader will shape and execute Convergint’s global I&D strategy, advise executive and business leaders, and embed inclusive practices across the colleague experience.

Guided by a philosophy of global commitment to inclusion, with locally relevant priorities and execution, the Director will establish shared principles, governance, and measures while partnering with regional leaders to address local cultures, laws, workforce needs, and business conditions. As part of the global Talent team, this leader will strengthen engagement, talent pipelines, leadership capability, and community presence as Convergint grows.

What you’ll do:

• Develops, implements, and monitors programs that promote I&D within the company.
• Designs and delivers I&D education for colleagues to drive greater inclusion, understanding and belonging.
• Partners with Human Resources, Marketing, Learning and Development and Talent Acquisition for colleague relations, employer branding, attracting talent and advancing career development. 
• Creates and implements a system for regular monitoring and sharing of progress on key I&D metrics that incorporates qualitative and quantitative data.
• Drafts and disseminates I&D related communications and materials to all staff.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. 

What You’ll Need

• Ability to travel as required, including willingness to events.
• Must be able to effectively function in a dynamic, fast pasted environment that is ambiguous and in a state of change due to company growth and technological advancement.
• Executive level written, oral and presentation skills.
• Previous experience working in complex, global businesses that demonstrates an understanding of how to effectively manage/balance cultural and organizational dynamic nuances.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion; maintain confidentiality.
• Experienced with Application Tracking Systems, HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or business-related discipline required.

Minimum Experience: 7+ years of strategic I&D leadership at all organizational levels preferably with specific experience in the security industry.
