Who you are...
We are seeking an experienced leader to join our Executive Leadership Team, someone who will have a seat at the table and play a key role in shaping and leading our community.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare or senior living industry, including accreditation and regulatory requirements, strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field.
  • A minimum of three to five years human resources experience, preferably in a customer service environment. Experience in Senior Living environment a plus.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal labor regulations, personnel administration, employee relations, compensation, and benefits administration, recruiting and selection, and training and development.
  • Has managed a small team.
What you will do...
  • Lead and manage all recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and community policies.
  • Administer employee benefit programs, serving as the primary liaison with benefit providers and insurance carriers.
  • Oversee compensation and classification practices, conducting market reviews to ensure competitive and compliant pay.
  • Partner in the annual budgeting process, providing recommendations on wages, benefits, staffing, and HR-related expenses.
  • Develop, maintain, and update HR policies, the Employee Handbook, job descriptions, and personnel procedures.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper maintenance of employee records and employment-related documentation.
  • Manage Workers’ Compensation, unemployment claims, and employee safety programs in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Gathers, reviews and disseminates information on employee safety and health, keeping abreast of changes in OSHA requirements and informing the Safety Committee and appropriate staff where applicable.
  • Provide training and guidance to leaders and employees on HR policies, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, addressing employee relations matters and concerns.
  • Supervise HR staff and oversee payroll review, PTO administration, and annual performance and compensation reviews.
