Miner’s Ace Hardware is looking for an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead our HR function and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and our management team.
This senior-level HR leadership position focuses on employee relations, workplace investigations, manager development, performance management, compliance, and organizational risk.
We are looking for someone who is confident handling difficult employee situations, comfortable advising senior leadership, and passionate about developing managers so they can effectively lead their own teams.

- Significant progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a multi-location retail or similar operating environment.
- Strong working knowledge of California employment law and HR practices.
- Demonstrated experience with employee relations and workplace investigations.
- Experience coaching and developing managers.
- Experience leading and developing HR staff.
- Strong business judgment and ability to evaluate decisions from both an HR and Company-risk perspective.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and follow-through skills.
- Ability and willingness to work approximately 45-50 hours per week and travel regularly to Company locations.
