Hexcel is currently seeking a Director of Human Resources – EMEA Sales & Marketing H/F for our Dagneux, location.
The Director of Human Resources will serve both as a strategic HR partner to the Business President and the EMEA/AP Sales & Marketing leadership team as well as providing hands-on execution, driving people strategy to enable business growth and organizational effectiveness. The role will partner closely with European, UK and global HR colleagues to ensure the successful rollout of global and regional HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership: Align HR strategy with business objectives.
- Talent Management: Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
- Employee Engagement: Drive programs that foster a high‑performance culture and retention.
- Organizational Development: Support organizational design, change management, and transformation initiatives.
- Performance Management: Lead the people cycle, including goal setting, performance management and management develop review for Sales and Marketing ensuring fairness and alignment with goals.
- Compensation & Benefits: Partner with compensation teams and local HRM’s/HRD’s to ensure competitive reward structures within Sales and Marketing.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Partner with local HR to ensure practices are aligned and comply with regional labour laws, cultural expectations and corporate policies.
- Leadership Coaching: Provide guidance and coaching to senior leaders to strengthen capability.
- Project Management: Provide strong project management with a detail-oriented approach and the ability to drive initiatives forward efficiently.
- Escalation: Escalate HR risks, trends and complex issues to the VP Human Resources EMEA/AP.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in Human Resources, or related field; master’s preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive HR leadership with regional operational experience. Proven strategic and hands-on HR leadership in global, matrixed organisations.
- Industry Knowledge: Background in manufacturing, sales and marketing, within multinational environments.
- Skills: Strong business acumen, excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
- Leadership: Proven ability to influence senior executives and drive organizational change.
- Communication: Exceptional communication, organisational, and emotional intelligence capabilities.
- Languages: Fluency in English and French required; additional European languages are an advantage.
- Travel: Across EMEA and occasional USA
