Our Values and Leadership Behaviors
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Director level Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our growing, dynamic team. The ideal candidate is passionate about managing core HR programs, coaching, employee development, and problem solving across the organization. This position will provide leadership and partnership to the leaders in the assigned business groups on successful talent strategies, providing business insights through data driven analytics and drive proactive organizational design and development. This role ensures the effective delivery of all people programs and services within the business groups.
ecoATM is a high-growth, PE-backed re-commerce company on a path to IPO. We move fast, hold a high bar, and expect our HR partners to operate as embedded business leaders — not process administrators. This role is for someone who thrives in ambiguity, gets hands-on with the details, and drives outcomes without waiting to be asked.
What you will do
- Serve as a strategic and hands-on HR business partner to senior leaders, directly influencing org design, talent strategy, and performance management
- Lead full-cycle performance management including calibration, promotion cases, and underperformance action plans
- Drive workforce planning and org design decisions in a fast-changing, high-growth environment
- Coach executives and managers on high-stakes people decisions — comp, structure, terminations, restructurings
- Partner on M&A/transaction-related HR workstreams as needed (comp harmonization, org integration, communications)
- Build and scale HR programs (engagement, career pathing, leadership development) without heavy support infrastructure
- Use data to diagnose talent risks and recommend action — not just report metrics
- Lead a team of 2 HRBP Managers supporting both corporate and operations workforce (hourly)
- Roll up your sleeves on execution; this is not a strategy-only seat
What You Bring
- 12+ years progressive HRBP experience, including senior-level partnership with C-suite/SVP leaders
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, or PE-backed environments (start-up, scale-up, or turnaround experience strongly preferred)
- Track record of driving org design, workforce planning, and performance management at scale
- Comfort operating with incomplete information and/or shifting priorities
- Direct, low-ego communication style; bias toward action over process
- Experience navigating org restructuring and rebuilding, M&A-related HR work a plus
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; SPHR/PHR a plus
