The Director of HR will manage HR projects, develop strategies for talent management, oversee HR operations, and provide guidance to senior leadership on policies and performance management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage HR operational projects to drive change, champion cross-functional projects, and training
- Partner with global plant HR Managers to identify and standardize HR work proving global back-up support
- Work with plant HR Managers to identify and roll-out HR best practices and continuous improvement initiatives for meeting the demands of the business and deploy globally
- Develop HR business strategies to drive key business results; provide guidance on talent management, workforce relations, organization design and compensation
- Participate in short-term and long-term operational projects for HR that are aligned with strategic and operational plans – addressing talent retention, promotion, and succession planning
- Drive the global performance management system and support the Plant HR Managers with maintenance and execution of the performance management system at all plant levels
- Work directly with senior leadership in developing and maintaining HR policies, programs, and procedures
- Oversee plant investigations and point of contact for plant ethics hotline complaints
- Provide guidance and coaching to senior leaders to address complex performance issues and prepare effective performance improvement plans, reduction in force documents and misconduct and termination documentation
- Collaborative HR Business Partner to all Corporate HR Leaders, Senior Operational leaders, suppliers, agencies, and legal counsel
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, or equivalent
- Master’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience with increasing responsibility in manufacturing
- Previous HR experience, including the support of multiple functional areas or sites required. Previous experience partnering with senior business and operational leaders required
- 6+ years of direct supervision of others; Previous HR leadership experience required
- Subject matter expert in human resource operations (policies, procedures, systems, practices) in order to coach and mentor plant HR managers as necessary
- Demonstrated experience advising senior management on insights, implications and appropriate deployment approaches to programs, projects and change as it relates to internal team members
- Excellent leadership, influence, and negotiation skills
- Strong presentation, communication, and group facilitation skills
- Well-rounded business background
- Capability to influence and build trust with individuals at all levels within the organization
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task, prioritize and analyze data
