Job Description

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and execute people and organizational strategies that enhance business culture, performance, and growth.
  • Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with overall regional and global HR objectives, ensuring they drive business outcomes and performance improvement.
  • Coach and mentor people leaders, equipping them to lead their teams through capability development, engagement initiatives, and performance management processes.
  • Leverage internal and external insights to assess talent needs and the broader implications of business strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Drive strategic workforce planning, identifying future capabilities required to meet business objectives, and advising on the best organization design and culture to support the strategy.
  • Collaborate with HR teams, Shared Services, and COEs to deliver HR initiatives and processes that align with Brambles Group policies and practices.
  • Oversee the execution of key HR processes, including Individual Talent Conversations (ITC), salary reviews, and the Pulse survey, ensuring effective action planning and follow-up.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and building a strong HR function that consistently delivers on organizational objectives.

HR Strategy & Leadership

  • Act as Head of HR for Latin America, owning the people agenda aligned to business strategy and enterprise priorities
  • Translate global HR strategies into clear, executable plans that work across both corporate and operational environments.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders (Director+ level) on organizational effectiveness, talent, culture, and risk.

Corporate Support & Service Center Integration

Lead an integrated HR approach across:

  • Corporate and Enterprise Support Functions
  • Service Centers, operations, and frontline environments
  • Ensure consistent standards while allowing for fit‑for‑purpose solutions across diverse employee populations
  • Partner closely with Operations and Supply Chain leadership to embed end‑to‑end thinking, workforce planning, and frontline capability building

Organizational Design & Transformation

  • Lead organization through periods of organizational change, transformation, and restructuring, ensuring strong change management and leader capability.
  • Own organizational design, workforce planning, and succession strategies in partnership with the business and HR COEs.
  • Actively identify talent upgrades, capability gaps, and leadership risks, and drive action.

Employee Relations, Risk & Governance

  • Serve as the senior authority on employee relations, unions, labor risk, and complex people matters.
  • Ensure compliance, policy alignment, and governance are effectively managed in partnership with Legal and HR COEs.
  • Balance consistency with judgment in managing sensitive and high‑risk situations.

HR Operating Model & Team Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high‑performing HR team.
  • Clarify decision rights and ways of working across HRBPs, HR Operations, and COEs to avoid duplication and confusion.
  • Drive capability uplift in data‑driven decision making, leader enablement, and operational excellence.

Optimization & Technology

  • Champion a roadmap to optimize HR processes and leverage the full capability of Workday and other HR systems
  • Progress HR team adoption of technology and support change management efforts
  • Continuously look for opportunity to improve and automate HR processes

Experienced HR executives who bring:

  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in complex, multinational organizations.
  • Proven success partnering with senior executives and influencing business strategy.
  • Deep expertise in organizational design, transformation, talent strategy, and change leadership.
  • Experience supporting both corporate and operational workforce environments.
  • A track record of building high-performing teams and elevating organizational capability.
  • Strong experience operating within matrixed global organizations and partnering across centers of expertise and shared services.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
