We are currently searching for a Director, HR Business Partner (IT Services / Tech Industry):
Responsibilities
- Lead the HR Business Partner function for the IT Services or Tech Industry sector, aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
- Drive talent demand and service fulfillment initiatives, ensuring the acquisition, development, and retention of top-tier IT talent.
- Provide strategic HR guidance and support to senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
- Oversee the development and implementation of HR programs and policies that foster a high-performance culture and employee engagement.
- Act as a key liaison between business leaders and HR centers of excellence, ensuring seamless HR service delivery.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
- Utilize HR analytics and data to drive informed decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent HR practices and foster a cohesive international work environment.
Requirements
- 14 to +20 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a significant portion in an HR Business Partner role within the IT Services or Tech Industry.
- Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Director specifically within the IT industry or a technology-focused company, with specific examples of companies or projects.
- Proven ability to contribute to talent demand and service fulfillment initiatives, including concrete examples of actions taken and outcomes achieved.
- Experience leading HR initiatives across different global regions or working for global companies.
- Experience managing headcount (direct and indirect reports) and leading a team within an HR function.
- Experience with specific HR areas such as Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) & Union matters, or M&A related to rebadging/litigation in an IT Services or Tech environment.
- Practical experience with HR aspects concerning Time & Materials (T&M) or Fixed Price projects, overtime, severance processes, social security, expatriate management, or nationality-based workforce considerations within an IT Services context.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Residing locally in Mexico City.
Languages
- Advanced Oral English.
- Native Spanish.
- Basic to Intermediate Portuguese.

- IT Services / Tech Industry Expertise: Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Director specifically within the IT industry or a technology-focused company, with specific examples of companies or projects.
- Talent Demand & Service Fulfillment Acumen: Proven ability to contribute to talent demand and service fulfillment initiatives, including concrete examples of actions taken and outcomes achieved.
- HR Functional Leadership & Management: Experience managing headcount (direct and indirect reports) and leading a team within an HR function, including outlining the manager's designation/hierarchy in previous roles.
- Global HR Leadership: Experience leading HR initiatives across different global regions or working for global companies, including primary and secondary country/region responsibilities, and experience with associated challenges.
- Specialized HR Domain Expertise: Experience with specific HR areas such as Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) & Union matters, or M&A related to rebadging/litigation in an IT Services or Tech environment.
- IT Services HR Operational Exposure: Practical experience with HR aspects concerning Time & Materials (T&M) or Fixed Price projects, overtime, severance processes, social security, expatriate management, or nationality-based workforce considerations within an IT Services context.
- Language Proficiency: Advanced Oral English and Native Spanish proficiency.
- Location: Currently residing in Mexico City and comfortable with a hybrid work arrangement.
