Job Description

Join our team as the Director, Head of Marketing, where you'll play a crucial role in shaping TOMRA Foods' market presence. Reporting directly to the VP, Head of Customer Value, you will spearhead impactful marketing strategies that drive sales growth and elevate brand awareness across key market segments. This role offers an opportunity to lead innovative marketing efforts and position our solution portfolio effectively within the industry.

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with our business goals and objectives. 
  • Communicate marketing plans to key internal stakeholders and ensure alignment with regional needs.
  • Participate in building marketing budgets and monitor spending throughout the year.
  • Create customer journeys, alongside the Global Segment Directors to boost customer intimacy and inform marketing activities. 
  • Establish annual content and communications strategies in line with business needs. 
  • Plan and execute marketing programs and advertising initiatives to support the organisational growth and reputation. 
  • Monitor and assess project activities and outcomes and redirect efforts as needed. 
  • Analyse marketing trends and strategies for effectiveness and improvement. 
  • Provide direction, guidance, and leadership to the marketing team.
  • Lead a team of high-performing professionals who execute the marketing roadmap. 
  • Foster collaboration and smooth coordination with regional marketing teams. 
  • Collaborate with other departments and external contractors to ensure the organisation’s message is clearly defined and distributed across all channels and target audiences. 
  • Oversee critical marketing functions including product marketing, content marketing, digital marketing and communications.
  • Promote a “Safety first” culture throughout the company, our customers, and our industry. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a BA/BS degree or equivalent in Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing or communication, ideally with a B2B background with technology products
  • Strong understanding of marketing, including digital marketing tasks, methods and tools. 
  • Proven experience in external corporate communications and media relations, with a focus on managing risk and reputation.
  • Expertise in creating effective marketing strategies that deliver measurably on defined objectives.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and adjust marketing approaches to maximise impact.
  • Experience with content creation, SEO and PPC, certifications in these areas are a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills for making data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for managing internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; proficiency in other EMEA languages is a plus.
