  • Monitor, analyze, and assess legislative, regulatory, agency, and public policy developments that may affect Rocket, its clients, or the broader housing, mortgage, banking, fintech, consumer finance, and financial services sectors.

  • Partner with internal business leaders and teams to evaluate policy impacts, coordinate company responses, and align advocacy efforts with enterprise priorities.

  • Prepare persuasive communications, briefing materials, talking points, policy summaries, legislative updates, memos, and other written materials for senior leaders and internal stakeholders.

  • Organize and support meetings, briefings, site visits, events, and other engagements with elected officials, regulators, agency staff, congressional staff, trade associations, and industry partners.

  • Represent Rocket at external meetings, policy forums, industry events, trade association discussions, and stakeholder engagements as appropriate.

  • Mentor and support team members by sharing expertise, strengthening policy understanding, and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing government affairs function.

  • Extensive knowledge of federal government institutions, agencies, legislative processes, regulatory processes, and policymaking functions.

  • Advanced written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor communications to executive, policymaker, technical, and business audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with policymakers, regulators, staff, trade associations, industry stakeholders, and internal business partners.

  • Ability to quickly learn new issues, assess policy and business implications, and build credibility in new environments.

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities, and time-sensitive policy matters simultaneously, with sound judgment and discretion.
