Global Solutions Owners work closely with their Global Experience Owner (leader) as well as Tech to understand how HRLT’s strategy will be delivered through process and tech offerings, particularly viewed through the lens of our people experience.
The GSO for Learning is key to GSK’s people and culture agenda, ensuring that the processes under their scope are accessible, easy to operate, and efficient.
You are a key partner for the People and Organizational Effectiveness Centre of Excellence (strategy); as well as the Digital, People and Org Effectiveness Operations Team (service delivery).
Working for the GXO Talent, Learning and Capabilities, you will understand HRLT’s strategic direction in the Learning areas, and be the business owner for these solutions, which will create outstanding experiences for our people.
You will partner with Tech to agree the right solutions for the right business problem, understand when there is a need to go with a particular 3rd party solution not in our strategic layer of applications versus when our strategic apps provide a suitable solution. You will own how these solutions link together to provide the most seamless employee experience possible.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following.
In consultation with business and CoEs, the GXO will signal the key areas of focus, and it is your role to identify, prioritise, and deliver process and system improvements, ensuring they support organisational outcomes and business results.
You will focus on embedding the new LXP GSK is implementing (Degreed) and ensure the experience it creates is one that provides a transformational development environment for our people.
You will define and refine the solution (i.e. system, process & data) by consulting with the business to define and manage business rules, standard policies & procedures (for process, data and service), key performance indicators (KPIs).
You will deliver and deploy new solutions into the business, partnering with Tech, and project/change managers. Changes should link to the new overall existing people experience and ensure a clear understanding of HR’s new offering in this space to our people, along with how it benefits them.
You should ensure the business process has been recorded and maintained accurately within Global Standard Operating Procedures (including any local variations), relevant controls are implemented, access requests / rectifications are managed and responses to complaints, incidents or breaches are provided.
You will ensure our mandatory learning solution remains GXP-compliant as the system of record for various regulatory bodies.

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (or equivalent) with 18+ years of experience
Subject matter expertise in the Learning area, with process improvement experience (Lean/Six Sigma strongly desired)
Agile methodology and mindset (Agile-qualified preferred)
Demonstrable track record of deploying employee-focused experiences and solutions
Link of Skills into Learning and Development processes, specifically around AI
Experience leading multi-functional teams within a matrix environment including managing stakeholders
Project / Programme Management experience
Strong change leadership experience
Mid/senior stakeholder managements skills and experience engaging business customers
Ability to stay ‘close to the ground’ (globally) to understand the ‘real’ end-user experience and perspective
Sound understanding of process simplification and standardisation and proven experience in global process roll-out
Excellent leadership and communication skills and the ability to work flexibly within a matrix team
Possess solid experience of systems and processes (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors/JAM, Degreed or similar learning) within relevant process area and integration points with other process areas – ideally gained at multiple companies previously
Broad knowledge across the end-to-end HR processes to support these components
