Mission:

The Director of Global Software Product Management distinguishes themselves through exceptional leadership, communication, and planning skills, and the ability to positively affect results. This individual is responsible for: 1. Overall software product vision (Dream) 2. Execution (Develop) and 3. Commercial success (Deliver) of our Software product lines. They will gather Voice of Customer inputs to support product development and sustaining efforts. Close collaboration and support of the sales channel, including direct team and partners, is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Define multi-year product and platform strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, portfolio prioritization, and investment allocation.
  • Manage all aspects of new and existing software products, with a focus towards growth and profitability of software products
  • Champion the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data-driven insights into the product portfolio to drive innovation, enhance decision-making, and unlock new value for customers.
  • Lead and manage a group of Product Owners focused on execution, delivery, and VOC incorporation.
  • Identify product portfolio gaps and new product development opportunities.
  • Identify market trends, risks, competition and opportunities.
  • Conduct market segmentation and help develop sales programs that enable the company to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and execute international product launch plans, train internal and external stakeholders, and ensure it meets the forecast and KPIs set forth in the project.
  • Interface and work cross-functionally with other functional groups (Sales, PMO, Field Services, Engineering, Supply Chain and Marketing)
  • Establish, monitor, and report on KPIs related to product performance and product benefit achievements
  • Experience with SaaS, cloud, on-prem, or enterprise software business models.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies, backlog prioritization, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Familiarity with modern software delivery, e.g., DevOps, CI/CD, UX, APIs, and platform scalability.
  • Experience with product pricing, licensing, and monetization models for software.
  • Maintain sustaining issues-tracking for released products to minimize field and customer impact
Qualifications:
  • Education and/or Experience – Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s degree preferred) and/or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years proven and progressive product management experience, preferably in healthcare, medical device, RTLS, or other related technology. This position should have experience in the following areas:
  • Influence management of teams with proven results.
  • Ability to gain consensus and commitment.
  • Familiarity with multiple channels of distribution in worldwide markets.
  • Must work effectively with senior-level executives, cross-functional peers and leaders, and staff of affiliated institutions and enterprises.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and good judgment, and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Software or hardware development, delivery, and product lifecycle management experience
  • Experience in agile methodologies
  • Broad functional experience in areas of product management and new product development.
  • A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
  • A demonstrated ability to train, develop, and lead employees to generate results.
  • Must have a strong customer orientation.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including presentation skills.
  • Must be a strong team player.
  • Must be committed to company values.
  • Able and willing to travel to customer sites in N. America to obtain voice of customer feedback (25%-50% travel)
