This role is also the business owner for the Global Operational Excellence (OpX) program—setting standards, auditing performance, and accelerating continuous improvement across plants and world areas. This role will partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Digital/Automation teams to translate strategy into an executable plan, govern performance, and course correct with data driven rigor.

Relocation assistance available for selected non-local candidate.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

 S&OP leadership:

  • Own the global S&OP calendar and cadence (pre‑S&OP, WA S&OP, executive S&OP) to align demand, supply, and financial plans over 3–18+ months; drive scenario planning and executive trade‑off decisions.
  • Standardize and continuously improve the S&OP process (inputs/outputs, roles, data models, operating mechanisms) and ensure cross‑functional participants come prepared with reconciled views and risks/opportunities.
  • Translate S&OP outcomes into operations plans (capacity, material strategies, lead‑time targets, expedites/allocations) and hold owners accountable for execution.
  • Govern performance via S&OP KPIs (RDSL/PDSL service levels, late backlog, enterprise lead times, quality/CoQ linkages) and drive corrective actions with WA/site leaders

Operational Excellence (OpX) program ownership:

  • Own the Global OpX framework and annual audit program across Safety & Sustainability, Quality, Manufacturing Efficiency, Trade Compliance, Procurement, and Planning & Materials; evolve standards, scoring, and governance.
  • Plan, staff, and execute plant audits; publish findings & OFIs, and track closure to improve speed, delivery/lead time, service, efficiency, and asset management.
  • Showcase and scale best practices (e.g., automation, digital operations, perfect execution) and recognize top‑performing sites through the OpX awards process.

Global inventory strategy & execution:

  • Own the global inventory policy and guardrails (e.g., ABC classification, safety‑stock methodologies, deviation controls/IDRs) and ensure consistent application across sites.
  • Set targets and optimize working capital (ITO, RAW/WIP/FG DOH) by plant and world area; run focused reductions on slow‑moving/excess while protecting service. Prepare Profit Review inventory plan.
  • Optimize material planning best practices.   Develop key strategies to improve the efficiency of planning material and spread best practices around the globe.
  • Institutionalize parameter management (lead times, reorder quantities, time fences, ATP attributes) and close exceptions picked up by analytics and buyer reviews.
  • Run global inventory reviews with WA Operations/Finance (bridges, headwinds/tailwinds, POR linkages) and cascade actions to site materials teams.

Digital, analytics & tools enablement:

  • Partner with Digital/Automation, Factory Systems, and BI teams to ensure planning data, dashboards, and exception workflows (e.g., Power BI planning home, safety‑stock dashboards) are accurate, consumable, and action‑oriented.
  • Advance “intelligent execution” by reducing manual work, embedding automation in planning/administrative processes, and improving planning master data quality.

Leadership, governance & change:

  • Lead and develop a global team (direct and dotted‑line) across time zones; build planning and materials capabilities through role clarity, coaching, and training.
  • Run executive reporting and forums (e.g., Profit Reviews, Global Ops reviews) to communicate risks, recommendations, and decision requests crisply.  Lead Profit Review Global Operations planning.
  • Champion cross‑functional alignment with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance; escalate structural constraints and drive resolution paths through S&OP and OpX governance.
  • Act and work as a member of the executive Global Operational management.

Who You Are:
