Your opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the Director, Global Marketplace, you define, own, and activate the global commercial strategy for the Veilance product line. In this role, you oversee all commercial channels; Ecommerce, Wholesale, and Retail, ensuring a cohesive and high-performing marketplace approach. Working in close partnership with the Veilance General Manager, you translate the long-term brand and business strategy into marketplace execution across regions and channels. You collaborate closely with the Veilance Merchandising team to align product, distribution, and marketplace priorities, ensuring the collection comes to life seamlessly across every consumer touchpoint. You also partner with Regional General Managers (NAM, EMEA, APAC, China) and their channel leaders (Retail, Ecommerce, Wholesale) to drive business results in-market. While this role does not hold direct P&L responsibility, you provide the global frameworks, direction, and programs that enable regions to deliver sustainable growth and profitability.

Leading a small, high-impact team, you are accountable for:
- Driving global alignment across channels and regions
- Partnering with the Veilance GM to bring the long-term strategy to life through marketplace execution

- Building and managing key global partnerships

Success in this role also requires strong cross-functional partnership with Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, Merchandising (Buying, Planning & Allocation), Finance, and Design to deliver a fully integrated marketplace strategy. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution - combining marketplace expertise with the ability to scale a premium brand globally.

This role is based out of Vancouver, BC and is open to hybrid and local-remote work.

  • Building short-, mid-, and long-term growth plans with wholesale and strategic partners
  • Partnering with cross-functional leaders to improve processes, refine the business calendar, and optimize team structure
  • Acting as the primary bridge between Sales and Product Line Management, ensuring product creation aligns with market needs
  • Collaborating with Demand Planning and Supply Chain to align seasonal forecasts with revenue goals and inventory risk
