About the Opportunity

This senior leadership role within our Global Total Rewards Center of Expertise is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and communicating innovative executive compensation and total rewards programs and policies. The ideal candidate leverages deep industry insight and commercial acumen to drive financial performance, lead a diverse team, and influence senior leaders’ company-wide. Reporting to the Vice President of Global People Service & Total Rewards, this role directly manages three key program leads covering global compensation, global wellbeing & Americas benefit programs, and EMEA compensation & benefits.

 Responsibilities

Executive Compensation Strategy:
•    Design and implement executive compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top leadership
•    Develop and manage long- and short-term incentive plans, including Board of Directors compensation, ensuring alignment with business goals
•    Stay abreast of regulatory, disclosure, and policy developments to ensure ongoing compliance and competitive positioning
Program Design & Operational Excellence:
•    Lead the development of comprehensive total rewards policies by integrating benchmark best practices and relevant trend research
•    Create and oversee performance dashboards using internal and external data to evaluate cost, performance, and ROI
•    Direct specialized market studies and risk reviews, addressing any anticipated or emerging issues
Strategic Influence & Collaboration:
•    Partner with external executive compensation consultants to refine program design and implementation
•    Prepare detailed analyses and materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board
•    Provide expert guidance and education to senior leadership, HR teams, and managers on compensation strategy and best practices
Team Leadership & Communication:
•    Lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for global compensation and benefits functions
•    Articulate program purpose and value across the organization, ensuring clear, consistent communication and effective change management
•    Oversee the design and delivery of compensation training and educational materials for various stakeholders

    Candidate Profile

Education & Certifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MS in Finance strongly preferred
•    CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) is a plus
Experience:
•    10+ years of progressive experience in compensation & benefits, with a strong emphasis on executive compensation in large public or privately held companies and/or management consulting
•    Demonstrated expertise in developing, implementing, and managing sophisticated compensation programs that align with broader total rewards strategies
Skills & Competencies:
•    Advanced strategic and analytical capabilities, with a hands-on approach when needed
•    Proven program management skills with the ability to translate complex initiatives into efficient, systematic processes
•    Exceptional communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills for engaging with all levels of leadership
•    Strong team building and change management acumen, coupled with the ability to manage sensitive, confidential matters effectively
•    In-depth knowledge of industry standards, trends, and regulatory requirements

Compensation & Benefits:

The following information is provided in good faith as a general description of the salary range and benefits for the position posted.  The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon experience, skills, education, work location, internal pay equity, and other objective job-related factors.

Salary Range estimated for the Director, Global Executive Compensation & Total Rewards: $215,000 to $262,000 USD.
