Summary

This position oversees and leads the strategic business partnering and advocating with business stakeholders of Corp. Function's, working closely with the Head of Global BRM and Team of Business Relationship Managers (BRM) for corporate functions globally.
Responsibilities
- Leadership: Provide leadership/direction, management and guidance for the responsible team of Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for corporate functions to foster development and growth
Strategic partnership with key senior leaders and decision makers: Establish strategic partnership with key senior leaders in Corp. Functions so that they and Global DX develop a shared vision, strategy, and roadmap together from the beginning of discussion, and incorporate them into DX strategy.
Advocation for business stakeholders and Global DX: Act as advocates for both the business stakeholders in Corp. Functions and Global DX to ensure that technology solutions are aligned with the overall strategy and objectives of both the business and Global DX
Needs alignment between business stakeholders and company-wide IT: Balance the needs of the business with the needs of Daiichi Sankyo (e.g., ensure that DX initiatives are aligned with the business goals and priorities, while balancing how each business unit’s needs fit into company-wide IT needs)
Demand Prioritization: Ensure the Corp. Functions’ requests are appropriately sized and defined, so that business stakeholders in Corp. Functions can prioritize them based on business strategy, potential value, and available resources.
Communication Collaboration facilitation: Serve as a communication collaboration bridge between the Corp. Functions and Global DX to foster collaboration and conflict resolution to overcome challenges, facilitating regular meetings, workshops, and forums where both sides can exchange ideas, provide feedback, and ensure mutual understanding
Demand gathering and analysis: Gather detailed demand from business stakeholders in Corp. Functions and analyze them to identify the technology needs and potential solutions
Demand Management Process Framework: Enhance Demand management process in collaboration with DX Strategy and Project and Portfolio Management
BRM best practices: Research the latest technology trends and industry best practices in responsible business area and provide technology consulting, as well coaching to business stakeholders
Value management: Measure the business value delivered by DX initiatives by setting KPIs to evaluate the success and impact of technology projects, collaborating with Project and Portfolio Management function
Change management support: Assist in change management efforts during the implementation of DX projects together with Organizational Change Management and Training function by closely communicating with Corp. Functions to manage expectations, address resistance to change, and ensure smooth adoption of new technologies
Execution Control: Ensure that the relevant DX/IT services for Corp. Functions are delivered appropriately by Application delivery and services / Infrastructure delivery and services, considering and measuring customer satisfaction
Deliverables: Responsibility for BRM relevant Global DX deliverables (e.g. DX Unit concepts, DX Top Dialog, Demand Management Process incl. GDAB) in close collaboration with Global DX (Strategy, Project and Portfolio Management) and Business functions (DX strategy lead/ DX advocate)

Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)
- Bachelor's Degree required

Experience Qualifications
- 10 or More Years At least 10 years of experience in an equivalent role in Business or Global DX areas required
- Experience Leading teams AND /OR people management experience is required
- Experience in business relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with various business units with strong skill to build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders required
- Experience in planning and executing digital transformation initiatives (Required) required
- Overall knowledge about business in corporate function of pharmaceutical and healthcare industry required
- Capability to start up-to-date technology advancements, and best practices in both business relationship management and digital transformation required
- Ability to think strategically and connect IT initiatives to broader business outcomes required
- Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP) certification (BRMP® Certification) demonstrates expertise in business relationship management preferred
- Specific professional experience & education for assigned business unit/function (Corp. Functions / R&D / Tech / DSJ & JBU / DSI & OBU / DSE & EUSBU)

Travel

Ability to travel up to 20% Domestic and international travel
