About the Role
As the Director of Global Benefits at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will be responsible for leading the design and management of our global employee benefits programs. You will lead a team to support the development of a global benefits strategy and the execution of that strategy. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our benefits offerings are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with the needs of our diverse workforce. Solstice has a global footprint, and you will be responsible for evaluating benefits in a variety of countries and understanding the impact of benefits on a country-to-country basis. This will include applicable local laws, statutory requirements and the needs of our population.
You will report directly to our VP, Total Rewards and HR Services leader and you will work out of our Morris Plains, NJ location on a hybrid work schedule. ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the global benefits strategy
- Oversee the design and management of employee benefit programs globally
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective financial management, communication and administration of benefits programs
- Monitor industry trends and best practices
- Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants
- Provide guidance and support on benefits-related matters
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to employee benefits
- Analyze data and metrics to evaluate the performance and cost-effectiveness of benefits programs
- Partner with HR Services to refine administrative processes and address operational challenges
- Support the development and delivery of employee education and communications to enhance understanding and utilization of benefits
- Stay informed about emerging trends and innovations in the field of employee benefits and make recommendations for enhancements or changes to the benefits strategy
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in benefits management or related field
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and regulations globally
- Experience in developing and executing benefits strategies
- Strong understanding of US benefits, including defined benefits pensions
- Good understanding of defined benefit pension schemes globally
- Strong financial acumen including understanding of accounting of global benefit programs, medical plan underwriting and benefits financing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

PAY RANGE
The annual base salary range for this position is $195,183 - $244,567. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
