About the Role: 

The Director of FP&A plays a critical role in establishing the management reporting infrastructure and business analytics which can support sound decision making as the company continues to scale with sales and profit growth.

  • Lead the company’s financial and management reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes including, but not limited to:
    • Monthly forecasts, monthly actual reporting and analysis, annual operating plan, and strategic planning processes
    • Long-range (3-year) financial planning process
    • Monthly reporting deck for the Leadership Team and Board
    • Financial Model to support external Guidance (IS, BS, CF)
    • Develop and implement processes/model to accurately forecast revenues/margins by SKU/Channel
  • Play a critical role in the Integrated Business Planning Process - specifically on the reconciliation of Demand Plan to a Financial Plan and preparation for the Monthly Business Review meeting - which includes monthly forecast updates and assessments of risks and opportunities to plan 
  • Monthly Operating Expense budgeting and actuals reporting with all departments - including leadership around the management reporting hierarchy, master data strategy required to manage this effectively
  • Interest expense forecasting
  • Implementation of tools/systems required to efficiently run the forecast process
  • Guide, counsel and reinforce a metrics-based culture with all department and channel leaders that provides visibility into all risks and opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement of a cohesive global finance function to produce innovation in reporting, planning and analysis
  • Provide decision support to finance and business teams through ad-hoc analysis, financial modeling and thought leadership
  • Provide continuous improvement in the quality and impact of the reports / presentations / analyses shared with the business (right data to the right people at the right time, with compelling and simple visuals)

About You:  

  • 10+ years experience as a business unit finance lead
    Experience working for a company with a retail sales channel
  • Strong ability to work across departments and cultivate the right relationships needed to succeed 
  • Familiarity with omni-channel business model
  • Strong written communication and graphical presentation of data skills required
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP / Integrated Business Planning is a plus
  • MBA is a plus

Our Total Rewards: 

The annual base pay for this position is $170,000 - $210,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.
