Race Winning Brands (RWB) is the leading manufacturer of racing and high-performance parts sold to automotive and powersports markets. RWB is the preferred source for high-end pistons, engine blocks, cylinder heads, intake manifolds, connecting rods, crankshafts, clutches, transmissions, springs and other engine and driveline- related performance components.

RWB in Mentor, Ohio is seeking a Director, FP&A (Head of FP&A) (hybrid role) to lead its financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting functions. Reporting directly to the CFO and leading a team of three, this individual will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information while improving the processes and reporting capabilities that support decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.

· Own monthly and quarterly management reporting, including financial results, KPIs, and variance analysis.

· Consolidate forecasts across business units and challenge assumptions to improve accuracy and accountability.

· Analyze revenue, EBITDA, margins, working capital, inventory, cash flow, and other key performance drivers.

· Partner closely with accounting, operations, and business leadership to understand and communicate financial performance.

· Improve and standardize FP&A processes, reporting packages, templates, and timelines.

· Support reporting and analysis for the CFO, executive leadership, Board, and private equity sponsor.

· Lead and develop a team of three, establishing clear priorities, deadlines, and accountability.

Requirements

· Approximately 8–15 years of progressive finance, accounting, FP&A, or related experience.

· Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis experience.

· Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred, particularly within a multi-site or inventory-intensive environment.

· Strong accounting foundation and ability to partner effectively with controllership.

· PE-backed experience is a plus.

· Public accounting experience and/or CPA is a plus; strong candidates transitioning directly from public accounting may also be considered.

· Proven ability to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and operate hands-on in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong communication, leadership, and business-partnering skills.
