Helping collectors to pursue their passion.
The Role

Collectors is the leading creator of innovative technology that provides value-added services for collectors worldwide. We grade, authenticate, vault, and sell millions of record-setting collectibles, all while modernizing and digitalizing the process to further our mission of helping collectors pursue their passions. We’re always on the lookout for talented people to join our growing team.

Our services span collectible coins, trading cards, Funko Pops!, video games, event tickets, autographs, and memorabilia. Our subsidiaries include PSA, PCGS, SGC, WATA, and Card Ladder.

Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items. We employ more than 1,900 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana and offices in Jersey City, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Toronto, Guadalajara, Dallas, and Paris.

Collectors Financial Services is at the forefront of a new frontier—developing scalable, automated financial products that unlock liquidity and buying power for collectors, sellers, and investors. We benefit from both the agility of a fintech startup and the reach and resources of a market-leading organization.

We’re looking for a Director, Financial Services Strategy & Growth to lead the expansion of our Financial Services offering and shape the future of collectibles financing. You’ll play a pivotal role in building the infrastructure, products, and marketing strategies that drive scale across our Lending, BNPL, and Sale Advance solutions. This is a cross-functional leadership role that collaborates closely with Legal, Marketing, Product Management, Accounting, Marketplace, and Vault teams.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Financial Services, you'll spearhead key strategic initiatives and develop high-impact user experiences that support our growth. This is a US-based, fully remote role with flexible working arrangements.

What You’ll Do:

Product Development & Strategy

  • Lead the creation of scalable financial infrastructure supporting term loans, BNPL, and sale advance services for collectibles, ensuring compliance and seamless tech stack alignment.

  • Pilot and scale a sale-advance program integrated with PSA’s eBay marketplace, enabling instant financing upon listing an item for sale.

  • Launch instant loan offerings tied to vault items and Set Registry entries, supported by intuitive UX across our platforms.

  • Drive product integrations across MyCollection, Set Registry, our Online Submission Center, and other customer touch points.

  • Create customer-friendly applications and in-product experiences that support financial services adoption.

Growth Marketing & Partnerships

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for lending services, including strategic partnerships and channel marketing.

  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams to build inbound funnels through SEO, email, content, social, and video campaigns.

  • Plan and promote presence at industry trade shows and events to drive awareness and lead generation.
Leverage internal platforms (e.g., CardLadder, Set Registry, PSA Pop Reports, CCE) for targeted product promotions.
Oversee the creation of marketing assets, including website content, social media, and sales collateral.

Compliance & Global Expansion

  • Identify and manage regional compliance and partnership requirements to support global growth.

  • Ensure all financial offerings meet TILA and state-level regulatory standards.

  • Develop and execute market entry strategies for international expansion, with an initial focus on Asia and Europe.

Who You Are:

  • Entrepreneurial, with a hands-on, scrappy approach to problem solving.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and project management skills.

  • Proven experience as a senior growth, product, or marketing leader in a fintech or embedded finance environment.

  • Strong track record launching and scaling financial products (especially term loan, credit lines, BNPL, bridge loans, or sale advance tools).

  • Understanding of user acquisition and go-to-market strategy.

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in financial services; ability to work with compliance and legal teams.

  • Passion for collectibles, trading cards, or related markets is highly desirable.

  • Global expansion experience is a major plus, particularly across Asia and the EU.
