Mission

Neko is redefining what prevention means, from treating illness when it arrives, to sustaining health before it's ever at risk. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear.

In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalised, actionable insights. It's a team that thinks in 10x, not 10%. Every role here plays a part in building a world where prevention is the norm, and where your work genuinely helps people live longer, healthier lives.

Role Purpose

As Director of Financial Control, you will play a central role in building and scaling Neko Health’s global financial control environment during a period of rapid international expansion.

Working closely with the CFO and senior finance leadership, you will ensure the company maintains a robust, scalable accounting and control framework capable of supporting a complex international structure and future public-market readiness. Your work will strengthen the financial backbone of the company, enabling accurate reporting, strong governance, and financial transparency as Neko continues to grow globally.

This role combines deep technical accounting expertise with the opportunity to build processes, systems, and teams that support a fast-scaling healthcare and technology organization.

What You’ll Deliver in the First 6–12 Months
  • Establish a robust and scalable Group financial control framework, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting across a growing international entity structure.

  • Strengthen and document internal controls and governance, laying the foundation for SOX-ready compliance and supporting potential future public market transactions.

  • Standardize global accounting policies and reporting practices, enabling consistent financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions and currencies.

  • Improve the global month-end close process, reducing timelines while maintaining high standards of financial accuracy and audit readiness.

  • Partner with ERP and finance transformation initiatives to improve financial systems, automation, and reporting infrastructure.

  • Build and develop a high-performing global finance control team, establishing strong processes and clear accountability across regional controllers and reporting functions.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 12–18+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial control within international organizations.

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).

  • Extensive experience managing group consolidation and financial reporting across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and complex technical accounting topics.

  • Demonstrated experience building or scaling finance functions in high-growth
    environments.

  • Experience establishing internal control frameworks and audit-ready financial processes.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex accounting matters clearly to senior leadership and non-finance stakeholders.

Preferred
  • Experience preparing organizations for SOX compliance, IPO readiness, or public company environments.

  • Background in healthcare, medical technology, SaaS, AI, or other regulated industries.

  • Big 4 training or equivalent professional services background.

  • Experience with ERP implementations or finance system transformations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).

  • Proven ability to build and lead international finance teams.
