About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Finance to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is eager to make a significant impact on our financial operations.
The Director of Finance will work closely with our VP Finance, taking end-to-end ownership of the day-to-day finance operations, and playing a key role in building the financial processes, systems, and controls that will support Reeco through its next phase of growth. This is a high-ownership role with meaningful room to grow as the company scales.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day finance operations end-to-end, including payroll, AP/AR, billing & collections, and vendor management
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including preparing required financial statements, tax filings, and ongoing interaction with external accountants
- Work with the Company's external auditors and advisors on audit, accounting, and compliance matters to ensure adherence to local tax and statutory requirements across the US and Israel
- Enhance budget vs. actuals monitoring across all departments; proactively flag and investigate variances
- Own the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting cycles
- Track, analyze, and present key SaaS KPIs to leadership.
- Maintain and improve financial systems, processes, tools, and internal controls - with a genuine focus on automation and AI-driven workflows
- Assist with preparing management reports and board presentations
- Israeli CPA from one of the Big 4 accounting firms, with experience in high-tech companies and US GAAP
- 3-4 years as a controller in a global high-tech organization at a growth stage - SaaS experience strongly preferred
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and experience operating in a dual-entity US/Israel structure
- Experience in fast-growing startups with the ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities
- Comfortable owning budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized and pedantic about the details
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Excellent English - written and verbal
- Proficient with AI tools and Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite and/or HubSpot is an advantage
- A hands-on and proactive approach to problem-solving - high ownership, low ego
- Team player and service-oriented
Skills Required
