Job Summary
Responsible for leading financial strategy and execution to support business growth, operational efficiency, and fiscal responsibility.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Leads financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
Oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning and analysis.
Guides strategic decision-making through data-driven insights and financial modeling.
Ensures compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Partners with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive profitability.
Develops and mentors associates within the finance team to build expertise and teamwork.
Implements process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
Collaborates with senior leadership to align financial goals with company strategy.
Supports mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transformations with financial due diligence.
Communicates financial performance and risks clearly and consistently to stakeholders.
Oversees commission calculations and ensure accurate, timely payments to associates.
Partners with HR and compensation teams to model, fund, and execute bonus plans.

May manage department via multiple layers of managers OR directly supervise a staff of professional individual contributors at the senior or technical advisor level.
Work Environment
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 9+ years of experience in a related field, including several years in a management/supervisory capacity.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Analytics, or related field preferred
Experience supporting Product Strategy, Category Management, Merchandising, Pricing, Private Brands, or Commercial organizations
Strong knowledge of category management and merchandising KPIs, including GMROI, PSVM, inventory productivity, and margin performance
Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills with the ability to analyze large, complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights
Demonstrated ability to build financial frameworks, governance processes, and reporting capabilities in evolving or ambiguous environments
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance long-term strategy and hands-on execution.
Experience evaluating business cases, product portfolio decisions, supplier programs, rebates, promotions, and cost management initiatives
Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to simplify complex analyses for executive audiences.
Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity and analytics tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and related technologies
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, continuous improvement mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Experience leading change initiatives and building scalable processes and performance management disciplines
