StackAdapt is in an incredibly exciting phase of growth. It has recently doubled in employee size and expanded its footprint outside of North America to establish a strong presence in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) and APAC (Asia-Pacific) regions.

 

We are looking for our first senior leadership Finance hire in the EMEA region. The successful candidate will manage all major finance functions within the EMEA region while contributing significantly to the organization's financial success and growth in the EMEA market.

 

Working closely with other regional leaders and reporting to the Senior Director, Global Finance, the successful candidate will own all regional finance functions, including financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, compliance and risk management, tax and treasury, controllership, financial strategy, and more. StackAdapt is a Remote First company. This role is open to candidates located anywhere in the United Kingdom. Occasional travel may be required.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's objectives and key results for the EMEA region.
  • Oversee the budgeting process for the EMEA region, collaborating closely with department heads and the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to set ambitious financial targets.
  • Prepare comprehensive regional financial statements, budget variance analysis, and other relevant reports for executive management.
  • Provide insights to guide strategic decision-making at both regional and corporate levels.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with local and international regulations.
  • Implement and monitor regional internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
  • Manage regional cash forecasts and banking relationships to optimize the region's cash use.
  • Ensure timely compliance with statutory legal and tax filings.
  • Lead and develop the regional finance team, providing mentorship and guidance.
  • Communicate financial performance, strategies, and risks effectively to stakeholders, including executive leadership, board members, and investors.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners, financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory bodies in the EMEA region.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified or equivalent
  • Experience in a senior finance role with a focus on international operations, particularly within the EMEA region
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; able to lead and inspire a diverse team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication abilities, including conveying complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with Sage ERP or Netsuite is a significant plus. 
  • AdTech or consumption business model experience is a significant pluses.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple organizational levels.
