WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an EMEA Nike Digital Finance Director, to play a critical finance leadership role with full P&L responsibility. The role will manage a best in class retail finance team responsible for setting and executing financial strategy, providing reliable and accurate forecasting and deliver key insights for our digital business in EMEA. The candidate will manage delivery of cross-functional initiatives and is a critical member of the EMEA Nike Digital leadership team. The candidate will need to demonstrate strong financial and retail acumen, cross-functional stakeholder management experience, a growth mindset, a strategic mindset, and proven experience leading great teams.  They will need to demonstrate executive messaging of results, strategy and trends.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

In this exciting, fast-paced and complex business environment:

• You will be responsible for leading, develop and grow a best in class team.

• You will lead the development of short and long-term full P&L scenario and in-year plans (D2N, Margin, SG&A, EBIT) for our Nike Digital channel and also develop KPI’s to evaluate performance.

• You will provide regular reporting of financial performance during month end and quarter end moments including insightful analysis to explain trends within month end reporting and forecasts, including risks and opportunities.

• You will be a thought leader for the Senior Director of Finance for Nike Direct, Nike Digital GM.

• You will influence the financial strategy for Nike Digital channel and provide key financial input to drive future profitable growth. Also you will lead the transition to new digital partnerships and drive future Digital opportunities.

• You will lead and support significant enterprise transitions across Nike Digital, new EMEA ERP and finance tools and processes.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role, you will be part of the EMEA Nike Direct Finance Team, reporting directly to the EMEA ND Sr. Finance Director.  To be successful in this role, you will need to collaborate with various business stakeholders  both within finance (CFO, business planning, marketplace finance, consumer finance, FBI) and cross functional (DSM, MSC, Nike digital leadership). Outside of EMEA you hold a close connection with the Global finance partners in Nike Direct.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Strong, relevant finance experience in a retail environment with proven people management experience.

• Excellent knowledge of retail P&L, strategic planning, budgeting, investment analysis.

• Strong financial, commercial and business acumen, with ability to identify financial opportunities and risks.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

• Excellent English language skills with the ability to communicate sophisticated concepts and ideas in a concise style and manner.

• Ability to interpret financial risks and controls across end to end business and operational processes.

• Strong finance acumen, results-oriented with a personal impact and a sense of urgency.

• High integrity, transparency, authority, confidence.

• Very efficient problem-solving skills with proactive attitude.
