About the Opportunity

Summary

Work as part of cross functional team who perform strategic and quantitative analysis on various financial planning and policy issues.  Provide high-level leadership for all administrative and financial functions of Northeastern University’s IT and Business Services Divisions. Develops and implements strategic plans, manages complex budgets, and oversees resource allocation to achieve organizational goals.

This role is a hybrid position and requires coming into the Boston office 3 days a week. 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • 6-8 years of related experience, preferably in higher education.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial planning & analysis, budgeting, project management, resource allocation, and report development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Leads comprehensive financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the organization. 
  • Develops and executes long-term operational and financial strategies to support the mission and goals of divisions. 
  • Represents the organization in university-wide committees, ensuring alignment with institutional policies and priorities. 
  • Establishes and enforces administrative and financial policies to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance. 
  • Advise divisional leadership on decisions related to the organization's finances, mediating differences between finance and operational decisions
  • Provides mentorship and leadership to management teams, cultivating a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Other duties as assigned

Expected Hiring Range:

$99,010.00 - $143,567.50

With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
