The Opportunity - Director, Film and Television Sales (Remote - USA / Canada)
We’re looking for a passionate entertainment industry insider who wants to play a key role in modernizing production payroll. As Director, Film and Television Sales, you’ll be responsible for developing and growing relationships with scripted and unscripted production companies. You’ll draw from your background in production to connect with buyers, understand their pain points, and guide them toward Wrapbook as a strategic partner.
You may not come from a traditional sales background — that’s okay. What matters is your ability to listen deeply, speak credibly to producers and production accountants, and communicate a compelling vision of how the industry is changing.
What You’ll Do
Own a small book of targeted Mid-Market accounts and drive full-cycle sales efforts from prospecting through close.
Execute highly customized outreach strategies using creative tactics — not templated sequences. Every prospect should feel like they’re your only prospect.
Partner closely with the Demand Generation Manager to align on messaging, campaigns, events, and programs that will drive pipeline and accelerate deal cycles.
Engage prospects through multichannel outreach, onsite meetings, demos, and attendance at key industry events in Los Angeles and New York.
Build strong relationships with production company decision makers by demonstrating a deep understanding of their workflows, challenges, and business goals.
Manage complex deal cycles efficiently, with clear documentation of next steps, risks, and paths to close.
Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets consistently, with strong pipeline discipline and forecasting accuracy.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and RevOps to ensure a seamless customer experience and surface field insights.
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and emerging needs within the entertainment production space.
What You Bring
5+ years in production, production finance, or entertainment payroll
Ability to navigate 3–12 month sales cycles with multiple stakeholders while maintaining momentum and creativity throughout.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to personalize outreach at scale without sacrificing quality.
A self-starter mindset — you operate with ownership, urgency, and a sense of pride in your work.
Creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to test new tactics, take calculated risks, and learn from what works.
High organizational rigor; you stay on top of your pipeline, your tasks, and your customer communications without needing hand-holding.
Strong team player mentality — you value transparency, collaboration, and lifting others up as much as winning deals.
Enthusiasm for the entertainment industry and a genuine interest in helping productions operate better and smarter.

What We Do
Employers in media production and the entertainment industry are constantly hiring. Freelance employees move between projects and could get onboarded 30 or more times in a single year. And yet, much of the industry uses physical paperwork with no easy way to track payments, often struggling with compliance (due to ever-changing laws and union rules), and has few automation processes in place when it comes time to send payroll reports to their accountants. Wrapbook is an intuitive payroll and insurance solution for those balancing multiple projects. With digital solutions, simplified compliance, and comprehensive reporting, we take the stress away so employers and project-based workers can focus on the big picture. Commercial producers, filmmakers, and anyone creating media deserve robust solutions to meet their unique demands. With Wrapbook, you only have to ask for documents from cast and crew once. Our platform lets you move all the onboarding forms associated with any crew from a project to any future ones, giving you back hours. By swapping out paper timecards with digital ones, approving payroll is now a piece of cake. Crew can log into Wrapbook from any device to enter their hours and expenses. Providing producers with the right tools to onboard crew and process payments helps them put routine work on auto-pilot. That way, they can focus on more compelling tasks. Let us tackle paperwork, payroll, and insurance, so you can continue creating the work that matters.
