Title and Summary
Director, EUR Franchise Innovation
Overview
You will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling next generation Franchise models across Europe, spanning emerging payment, data, and digital commerce domains. The role is intentionally broad and future oriented, focused on enabling innovation across evolving ecosystems such as Agentic Commerce, Digital Identity, Crypto and tokenized assets, programmable payments, advanced data services, and other cutting edge payment adjacent domains.
In addition to driving Franchise strategy and execution, this role will act as a trusted strategic and operational partner to the EUR Franchise Team, helping drive organizational priorities, operations, and improve overall efficiency and effectiveness across the wider EUR Franchise Team.
Role
Franchise Innovation & Ecosystem Enablement
• Lead the design and evolution of Franchise models and engagement frameworks that support a broad range of emerging payment, commerce, and data-driven business models.• Provide thought leadership and practical guidance across innovation domains such as Agentic Commerce, Digital ID, Crypto and digital assets, data platforms, and next generation overlay services.• Champion the evolution of Franchise approaches to support non traditional customer types, new value chains, and rapidly shifting ecosystem dynamics.• Design and implement Franchise standards and processes that align with global principles while addressing the unique regulatory, commercial, and market needs of Europe.• Collaborate closely with Products, Legal, Privacy, Regulatory, Data Strategy, Finance, and others to ensure compliant, scalable, and customer centric outcomes.• Influence senior stakeholders and secure buy in across regional and global leadership teams.• Represent EUR perspectives in global forums, shaping broader Franchise strategy and priorities.
New Revenue & Pricing Leadership• Identify, incubate, and help scale new revenue opportunities, working closely with subject matter experts in the Franchise team.• Contribute to the development of innovative pricing models that reflect emerging value propositions, new usage patterns, and evolving customer segments.
Strategic and Operational Responsibilities• Drive alignment on priorities, goals, and initiatives across the EUR Franchise Team.• Support strategic planning, operating rhythms, and key leadership forums, ensuring clarity, focus, and follow through.• Help facilitate cross team dependencies, remove obstacles, help organise meetings and workshops, and improve decision making efficiency, as needed.• Track progress against organizational objectives, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
All About You
• Proven leadership experience in financial services, payments, technology, or adjacent innovation driven industries.• Exposure to, or strong interest in, emerging domains such as digital commerce, digital identity, crypto/digital assets, data platforms, or next generation payment models.• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to operate comfortably at both vision and execution levels.• Commercial acumen, with experience contributing to revenue growth, business model innovation, or pricing initiatives.• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with confidence presenting to senior leadership.• Natural influencer and connector, able to build trust and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.• Highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.• Strong operational, project management, and process improvement capabilities.• High energy, proactive, ownership driven attitude, with a bias toward action.• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion-valuing different perspectives and fostering a culture of belonging.
