Job Description SummaryGE Vernova is seeking an experienced Director ERP Technical Leader – Axapta (LM3P) & RACES (Wind) to provide end-to-end application ownership, technical leadership, and governance for critical enterprise applications supporting LM3P and Wind operations. This role will serve as the application owner for LM3P Axapta ERP and the technical lead for Wind RACES, with accountability for application stability, enhancement delivery, stakeholder alignment, compliance, and long-term roadmap planning.
The ideal candidate combines strong ERP and enterprise application expertise with program leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to work across businesses, Digital Technology, vendors, cybersecurity, and architecture teams. This role is critical to ensuring reliable day-to-day operations while also advancing simplification, standardization, and future transformation initiatives.
Customer representative accountable for all aspects (planning, forecasting, production) of the end-to-end lifecycle of a product. Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. The role is subject to operating policy objectives. There is moderate autonomy within the role. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

 

1. Platform Ownership & Strategic Roadmap

·         Serve as the Application Owner for LM3P Axapta and Technical Lead for Wind RACES, driving platform health, performance, and long-term technical sustainability.

·         Define and execute application roadmaps that align with business priorities, architecture standards, and GE Vernova’s application simplification strategy.

·         Lead platform transformation efforts, including future-state migration planning and system rationalization.

2. Solution Delivery & Process Optimization

·         Lead end-to-end program execution, managing scope, budget, and risks for system enhancements, upgrades, and technical debt reduction.

·         Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions that standardize and simplify operational workflows.

·         Ensure solutions are practical, high-quality, and delivered on schedule through rigorous project management and technical oversight.

3. Operational Excellence & Governance

·         Oversee application operations, ensuring high availability, reliable performance, and timely incident resolution for all supported business units.

·         Enforce robust governance frameworks, including cybersecurity standards, access controls (SoD), and change management to maintain constant audit readiness.

·         Prioritize support and enhancement requests based on business impact, technical risk, and strategic value.

4. Stakeholder, Vendor & Team Leadership

·         Act as the primary Digital Technology (DT) Point of Contact for LM3P and Wind, facilitating cross-functional alignment and strategic decision-making.

·         Manage internal technical teams and external vendors to ensure service level excellence, delivery quality, and resource optimization.

·         Provide technical mentorship and coaching to team members while coordinating a global delivery model.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related field.
  • Significant experience in ERP leadership, enterprise application ownership, or application management in a complex business environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 / Axapta, including implementation, support, enhancement delivery, and governance.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and programs involving business and technology stakeholders.
  • Experience managing enterprise application operations, incident resolution, change control, and release management.
  • Strong understanding of governance, security controls, compliance requirements, and audit support for enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of business processes supported by ERP platforms, such as finance, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence across a matrixed organization.
