Role Overview

As the Director of Enterprise Sales (In-House) at Harvey, you will lead and scale our sales team focused on in-house legal departments at leading enterprises. You’ll manage and mentor the frontline managers of Account Executives who serve Fortune 500 and other major corporate legal teams, overseeing the team responsible for driving new business and expanding strategic relationships. Your leadership will directly impact Harvey’s growth in the in-house vertical, and help define how AI transforms legal operations within the corporate enterprise.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-caliber team at the forefront of legal technology innovation, partnering with visionary General Counsels, legal ops leaders, and cross-functional executives to modernize legal workflows using Harvey’s cutting-edge AI platform.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and develop sales managers overseeing AEs focused on in-house legal departments, ensuring excellence in execution, coaching, and career development.

  • Own and exceed revenue goals across the in-house segment, driving top-of-funnel pipeline growth, mid-funnel deal progression, and accurate forecasting.

  • Shape the go-to-market strategy for in-house legal, including segmentation, coverage model, hiring plans, and sales playbook development.

  • Act as a strategic partner to key functions—including Product, Customer Success, Legal, and Marketing—to refine messaging, align product roadmap to enterprise needs, and support successful implementation and expansion.

  • Represent Harvey in executive engagements with in-house legal leaders (GCs, CLOs, heads of legal ops), building trusted relationships and advocating for AI adoption.

  • Inspect and optimize team performance, including pipeline metrics, forecast discipline, and overall sales hygiene.

  • Scale best practices across the team, codifying successful plays and enabling new managers and AEs to ramp efficiently and consistently.

  • Recruit, hire, and retain top enterprise sales talent, fostering a culture of collaboration, integrity, and high performance aligned with Harvey’s values.

What You Have
  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, including 5+ years of experience managing managers within high-growth B2B SaaS, ideally in a verticalized sales environment.

  • Deep familiarity with selling into the enterprise, with a proven ability to navigate complex deal cycles, RFPs, procurement processes, and legal-specific stakeholders.

  • Ability to develop understanding of the corporate legal ecosystem, including legal ops, compliance, data privacy, and how legal interacts with other corporate functions.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and scaling high-performing sales teams, with experience coaching both frontline managers and senior AEs.

  • Experience building and running a rigorous sales operating cadence, including pipeline reviews, forecast calls, and performance tracking.

  • Passion for Harvey’s mission to modernize legal work through AI, and a strong point of view on how technology can transform corporate functions.

  • Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders across all levels of seniority.
